EXCELLENT SERIES!
Just terrific! Superb in both the writing and the narration. What a world, what a world!! Just takes you up and carries you away. There is one more book to go in the series, and I cannot wait to see what happens! ☺️

“Pretty Hurts”
I liked how art imitates life. People may judge the characters in this fictional world; however, they need to hold up the mirror of truth to their own faces. Everyone has more power than they know. There is always other layers to reveal. This series is captivating and transformative.

This is what a sequel should always be!
Ms. Clayton truly transported us to the world of Orlean as we start with the events from the last book. She did an excellent job getting the reader up to speed, all while introducing important players to the mix. The flow of events was much better in this book and the levels of conflict were well balanced. I truly loved this book, more than the first one, and I look forward to reading about our favorite warrior Edel!

awesome part two, as magical as the first
perhaps a little repetitive at times it was still a great part two to The Belles with the same rich, expansive world and attaching heroine... though I think Charlotte is my favorite character just because of how amazing the narrator is at giving her a voice of her own. 10/10 great antagonist
