The purpose of the podcast is to bring value to entrepreneurs in the areas of their business and life that aren’t taxes, but could be considered “taxing” if handled without the proper planning, advising, and education needed to build a successful enterprise.

  • Episode #41: Natalie Campbell - Building A Profitable Culture In Hospitality
    Mar 31 2026

In today's episode, I had the opportunity to speak with Natalie Campbell, who has a background in leading accounting departments for very successful family-owned restaurant and hospitality brands. Being born and raised around the hospitality industry from a very young age would be an understatement when describing Natalie. From folding napkins to working summer shifts as a busser, expo, and server from high school through college. Natalie spent four years at the University of Oregon, where she earned a BA from the School of Journalism.

Upon graduating from college, she started helping her mother with data entry and accounting for a multi-location, family-owned restaurant, and found her passion working with numbers. 17 years later, she is still helping restaurant and hospitality brands understand the story their numbers are telling as she helps them build their accounting practices and systems.

During our call, we discussed the importance of having SOPs and eliminating silos in the workplace so restaurant teams can work as a cohesive unit to drive revenue, success, and positive cultures.
