Fantastic Adventure and Great Start to the Trilogy

This was a great story with a believable main character whose struggles feel real and understandable and not contrived. I like how we are brought into this world and given information in pieces, including a wonderful flashback section, and not just through a forced exposition dump all at the very beginning. It did take me a couple chapters to get into it, since I was in a new world with new rules I had to adjust to, but then I was invested in the quest! If you like fantasy novels or quests, you’ll enjoy this.

I really enjoyed this book. The audio is entertaining and well done. A well timed story/lesson for the state of todays world.
