Great primer on a home-based business you can DO

There is something very uplifting about listening to David while you do your garden chores! If you like his other books and are interested in creating some income in this way, you can't go wrong for this new hour and a half of audio.

David Does:
* Tell you A-Z how he created and ran his Florida nursery
* Go through all the aspects of owning a *business* that is not a hobby
* Covers taxation, licensing, wholesalers, and other areas that apply when you turn pro
* Want good folks like you to make money and feel good when selling your plants

David Does Not:
* Hold your hand on the details. You will need to know how to keep plants alive in your climate, set realistic expectations on propagation timelines, and research your own local laws.
* Talk much about pitfalls or big fails. Presumably that is because he kept his business in the black and was very smart about his niche. Listen to the book a few times to really get this important juice.
* Go in-depth about plant choice. On the other hand he does what is probably the better route: encourage you to find your niche and dig in there. This is probably what you are already growing successfully, pay special attention to his mentioning of Mother Plants.

I enjoyed this book and wished it were longer but I also didn't feel like David pulled any punches or left any stones unturned. He speaks clearly and with enthusiasm so it's a fun listen, and I did leave off a single star (4/5/5) in this review because at numerous points in the book he mentions photos that I as an audio listener would really like to see. Audible lets you upload a PDF with a title, so I think he should make a few pictures available to us listeners (hint hint!).
