A fun, sexy ride, but.....

I tried to love it but couldn't get past a few things. I wish Bronwyn's backstory fit her actions! She is a very capable spy despite having no training?? And she's very knowledgeable and good at many lewd (but fun and juicy😉) sex acts because she read a Gothic novel??? I love that she goes toe to toe with retired spy Thornbury, but out maneuvering him constantly was implausible. Her overtly sexual nature was both refreshing and unbelievable. A few extra paragraphs to make the puzzle pieces fit would have made all the difference.

Enjoyed the series

Book 1 and 3 had the best narration. Enjoyed the entire series. Loved the characters and that the stories took place mostly outside of the usual London events.

The story was amazing!

I like the strong female lead and nonstop action. and it was well read. I loved the smart whit of the characters and their chemistry.

Super Sexy & Strong Heroine

Hero was swoon worthy & heroine was phenomenal. Hero's transformation in light of heroine'scleverness was satisfying. She was strong, smart, & sexy with enough pride to hold back feelings & enough maturity not to act like a ninny. He was strong enough & honorable enough to let heroine be herself while protective & jealous enough to draw her in. Well done.

Narrator did not overly dramatize & make the graphic sex scenes weird or the adventure/intrigue childish. The plot & spy dances were excellently woven into a love story for a non-traditional couple and the dance proved them a perfect match. What more could you ask in a HEA? Not much. Maybe an epilogue where they are non-traditional parents? IDK. I recommend this as-is. You'll enjoy it, provided youre not put off by lots of sex & clever sexual inuendo.

Great book and narrator. The intrigue and ties into history are very clever. Wish there were more books in this series.
