It's a 3 hour short story.
Personally, for a free book that I get to read because it's included with my membership, it's good. I kind of hate having to sit through a 7 to 10 hour long story with slow burn. This is straight to the point cute romance, miscommunication, all your general tropes. The ending is too quick, and I did want more of an epilog, but again, for 3 hour quick story, I'm satisfied. I want to keep reiterating that it's a 3 hour short story because all these reviews complain that it's missing all this stuff. It's a 3 hour short story. It's not going to have all the meat that a 10 hour book is going to have. And again, for a book that I did not have to pay credit for, I enjoyed it. The narrator did a really good job, no complaints.

Good, if you don’t think too deeply
A lady duelist? An honorable debaucher? Love in a day? If you close one eye (or ear, 😜) and see this with regency rose colored glasses, it’s a swift, steamy good time. Just enough contrived story to get right to the naughty bits. As a free listen, this was excellent.
