Out of Time and Out of Luck

This is a book for people who love language. If you enjoy a protagonist who is their own worst enemy, and have a soft spot for old world clashing with the new world, this it’s a must read.

J.D.’s internal narration speaks with hyper-literate prose that makes even a trip to a greasy diner feel like an epic historical event.

It’s witty, bitter, and surprisingly touching by its final entry.
