Great entertainment!
The Dragonslayer’s Heart, book 2 in the Dragon Seed series, follows Skallagrim as he grows up on Tower Island and leaves to become a Dragon Slayer. This story is filled with rich descriptions of the various lands and peoples who inhabit them, not to mention it is an excellent study of the Scaldings and Skallagrim and his family. The interaction between several of the characters left me hoping Skallagrim might learn the truth of his life and answer the questions that plague him.
My familiarity with other stories in other series related to this world Resa has written enhanced my enjoyment of this book. Once again, listening to Resa Nelson narrate her story and I was mesmerized with the story and her ability to bring each character to life.
