Should be taught in schools

Eye-opening. It's not that I'm observing anything new, it's stuff I've seen every day in my long lifetime with dogs, yet I simply didn't realise what it all meant. Transformed my relationship with my dog and also, amazingly, explained the behaviour of my husband and kids(!)

Fantastic and very useful

I've listened to the audio of this book twice now and I don't think I'll get sick of listening to it.Very insightful and helpful. I also had the pleasure of meeting Nigel for a behavioural consultation last week. Having listened to The dog guardian first, I had a better understanding and had a chance to put some of the teachings into practice prior. Which was great!!
I Highly recommend!!

It works! Best advice on how to guide your dog

Nigel's way just works. We've consulted many dog behaviourists and never got better, clearer advice than from Nigel. The book is excellent, concise, clear and to the point. Easy to listen to and even easier to implement, and it works. Within hours of implementing the learnings our dog started to get it (or was it us who got it?), and months later he/we still do!
Thank you so much, your teachings have made our interaction with our Whippet's so much more pleasant : )

Dull & pedantic

I tried to give this book the benefit of the doubt but it takes an inordinate amount of time to say anything significant. When, after endless background information, the dull voice intoned “a dog’s water should be changed twice a day”, I stopped my iPad and went to watch some paint dry. Highly recommend - if you have insomnia...
