Story
Who is Satan? Is he real? How did he become the devil? What is he doing now, and how does he work? What is his ultimate end? This fascinating book describes what God reveals about the archenemy of God and of all believers. Using the Bible, Arthur W. Pink lays out, in an engaging and approachable way, who Satan is, and the “gospel” he uses in his many attempts to confuse and confound the ongoing work of our Lord. This short book is especially relevant to our day, as what Pink saw in “the bud” is now in full bloom and producing much evil fruit.

Doubt as to moral and spiritual truth is distilled through a score of channels. Our seats of learning are hotbeds of agnosticism. The newspapers, the radio broadcasts, public utterances, and private conversations are steadily but surely removing the foundations of righteousness and destroying what little faith in spiritual things still remain.

The history of the Christian church pivots on the doctrine of justification by faith. Once the core of the Reformation, the church today often ignores or misunderstands this foundational doctrine. Theologian James White calls believers to a fresh appreciation of, understanding of, and dedication to the great doctrine of justification and then provides an exegesis of the key Scripture texts on this theme.

What did this love look like in action, especially with those who are hard to love? As it turns out, he didn't love people because they deserved it; he loved them because he is love.

A lifelong pursuit of knowing God should embody the Christian's existence. According to eminent theologian J.I. Packer, however, Christians have become enchanted by modern skepticism and have joined the "gigantic conspiracy of misdirection" by failing to put first things first. Knowing God aims to redirect our attention to the simple, deep truth that to know God is to love His Word.

Why is The Book of Enoch so important to anyone interested in Biblical history? The answer is simple: It is directly quoted in the New Testament by Jude (vv.14-15). Themes of the book referenced in 2 Peter 2:1. Jesus also used content from The Book of Enoch in many of his sermons in Matthew and Luke. In this text, you will hear the word of God through this amazing document. We will take this amazing journey together and learn why this text is not an official book of the Bible.

Publisher's Summary
"Deny that the Bible is, without any qualifications, the very word of God, and you are left without any ultimate standard of measurement and without any supreme authority." (from the book)
The Bible is the foundation of Christianity. In The Divine Inspiration of the Bible, Arthur Pink sets out to defend the belief that this holy book is, in fact, the true word of God. In doing so he examines the idea of divine inspiration and presents various arguments that aim to prove God Almighty is the author of the Bible.
This book not only examines evidence for the trustworthiness of scripture and what belief in inspiration means but also helps Christians achieve a firmer understanding of the Bible's authority.

Still Accurate Today; Eliminates modern garbage
"No one who possesses a copy of the Bible can legitimately plead ignorance of God's will. The Scripture leaves us without excuse."
This remains the truth today, and more so. We have the internet, and, the ability to obtain a FREE copy of Scripture. The historical account of the Irishman, an impoverished laborer, who was willing to buy paper and ink, and use his evenings to copy out the Bible owned by a wealthier man (the only copy in the town) is an outright testimony which should cause me great shame. This comes in chapter 9, near the end of the book. It's worth reading all of it to get to that point.
President T.W. Wilson was in office and is mentioned in this book. Better still is the use of Scripture to back and substantiate the points carefully made. What bits of then-modern references are used, it is in passing, and that makes this a useful work for serious study. Never does the author use historical accounts to prove the point, but to verify secular acknowledgement.
The narrator has a pleasant voice, and a suitable reading is made. He does follow the silly modern convention of saying "One Chronicles..." and such, rather than "First Timothy 3 and verse 16." But this doesn't alter the text. It's just a little irksome, but I am fussy. My opinion is, if you're going to read aloud a sermon, speak exactly as the author would have. when he originally presented the message.

I knew something didn’t sit right with me about the Black Lives Matter movement. I knew the major media was pushing distorted versions of the police death cases and saw the equally distorted public response. I kept wondering what is their agenda in trying to ignite dissidence between people. Thank you for informing me who the founders are, it explains a lot. We all know loved ones that believe and repeat whatever the mainstream media reports as if it were the ultimate truth. It’s hard to see so many good people brainwashed. I’m so thankful that I came across your book.

To be fair, the book is very dated. However, if one cut out all of the excess and unnecessary allegories and hyperbole, this would be a one hour production. Furthermore, his logic was weak in many cases and contradictory in a couple. It was a very tough listen, but I survived.

GREATEST BOOK ON THE GREATEST EVER BOOK!
Arthur Pink sadly is a later-in-life discovery for me. This book, in particular is proving absolutely priceless in my walk with God. Through his other books I've discovered more in depth of the Character of God, the Attributes of God. etc. this book has impacted my understanding of the impact the Bible should have on the Christian's life. Humbling and inspiring, my spiritual growth is expanded and strengthened by this hidden gem. I currently have been thru the audio version so I note my only difficulties, if you want to call them that, are with the pronunciation of certain words, stemming from the variations between British and American English. I'm ordering hard copies for myself and some dear friends who I know to be neglecting the greatest gift outside our salvation God has given us. The Bible, and its paramount importance it should have in our daily lives.

The life of Elijah has gripped the thought and imagination of preachers and writers in all ages. His sudden appearance out of complete obscurity, his dramatic interventions in the national history of Israel, his miracles, his departure from the earth in a chariot of fire all serve to that end. He comes in like a tempest, who went out like a whirlwind. The first we hear from him is an oath and a threat. It is fitting that the lessons which may be drawn from Elijah's ministry should be presented afresh to our generation.

Pink clearly brings us a scriptural analysis of what to expect from the second coming of Christ in a truly thought provoking book.

Story
The life of Elijah has gripped the thought and imagination of preachers and writers in all ages. His sudden appearance out of complete obscurity, his dramatic interventions in the national history of Israel, his miracles, his departure from the earth in a chariot of fire all serve to that end. He comes in like a tempest, who went out like a whirlwind. The first we hear from him is an oath and a threat. It is fitting that the lessons which may be drawn from Elijah's ministry should be presented afresh to our generation.

This classic volume is the result of 20 years of research by Arthur Pink. It is one of Pink’s earlier works and originally appeared in his monthly magazine, Studies in the Scriptures. Volume two contains chapters 54 through 127.

Story
"Present day conditions," writes Pink, "call loudly for a new examination and new presentation of God's omnipotence, God's sufficiency, God's sovereignty. From every pulpit in the land it needs to be thundered forth that God still lives, that God still observes, that God still reigns. Faith is now in the crucible, it is being tested by fire, and there is no fixed and sufficient resting place for the heart and mind but in The Throne of God.

Story
What a many-colored career that was which began amidst the pastoral solitudes of Bethlehem, and ended in the chamber where the dying ears heard the blare of the trumpets that announced the accession of Bathsheba's son! None of the great men of scripture pass through a course of so many changes as David; none of them touched human life at so many points; none of them were so tempered and polished by swift alternation of heat and cold, by such heavy blows and the friction of such rapid revolutions.

Story
God did not mean for salvation to be a deep, complicated subject that man could not understand. But sometimes man's words confuse God's simple truths. D. L. Moody, one of the 19th century's greatest evangelists, shows how simple salvation is. Avoiding heavy philosophy, he simply shows "the way to God."

Story
To the mind enlightened by divine truth, the difference between a filial fear of offending God and the dread of punishment is very plain. Still, by the devil's sophistry, some of the most pious Christians have been puzzled and bewildered. Bunyan was not ignorant of Satan's devices, and he has roused the energies of his powerful mind, guided by divine truth, to render this important doctrine so clear and easy to be understood, that the believer may not err.

Story
Because God has made himself known in his word, a commitment to a high view of scripture is of paramount importance. Sadly, more and more people - not only from outside the church, but also from within - are denying the complete truthfulness of God's word. Edited by pastor John MacArthur, this compilation of essays by a host of evangelical pastors, theologians, historians, and biblical scholars contends that the Bible is completely true and without error - a foundational belief for those who claim to honor God and his word.

Story
Thomas Watson was one of the most famous Puritan preachers in history, and his 17th-century writings are still read across the world today. A highly influential example of Puritan writing, The Great Gain of Godliness is Watson's study of Malachi 3:16-18. British Baptist preacher Charles Spurgeon bemoaned the fact that he couldn't find a copy of The Great Gain of Godliness.
