Loved it from start to finish!

I think this is my new favorite audio fro J.A. Huss! I am a huge fan of her stories and her audios and I haven't been this gripped since I listened to 3,2,1 and the Mister Series a while back. This audio book is engaging, extremely well performed and it delivers on great pacing and plotting. I loved the build up or the characters relationships and how the intrigue made it so additive and interesting. A solid listen well worth the credit!

I have no words.

I have read/listened to thousands of books in my 50 years. I have never cared enough to write a review. I do t know why this book moved me so much, maybe because it has only been a year since I lost my fairy tale lo to cancer. Childhood sweethearts and each other’s first, reconnected 25 years later thanks to FB. Not only a great story, genuine characters, a superb plot complete with intrigue, fantastic erotic scenes, and a love story. I just finished driving down I-40 with tears streaming down my face. Even though it has an HEA. Fantastic book.i pray her others are as good. Side note...Savannah has the sexiest voice I have ever heard.

a few surprises

Good story at first, some surprises...but end was hard to finish. Go for it if you have the time.

COULD NOT PUT THIS DOWN!

Did the laundry get done? Nope. Dinner fixed? Nope. I could barely make it to work the day I started listening. This book absolutely engulfed me with sexy mystery and twists. Just when I thought I knew, I didn’t. Kept my attention and my NEED to keep listening... at home, in the car, every spare 15 minutes I could find. I did get a tiny bit confused at the end but kept going and the pieces came together. I might be ruined for any future listens. Listen to Julie’s note after the book. She adds to the insight of this book. THANK YOU JULIE, for this great book!!!

A rare dark romance page turner

Thus book had so many twists and turns - could not stop reading. Loved that I was truly surprised by the villain! Also liked the author note at the end. Hope to read more from JA Huss

Great story and great narrators!

JA Huss is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors and Teddy and Savannah are awesome narrators.. this story though is the most amazing part. I was spooked, I cried, and it left me thinking, about uncomfortable things, which for me means that it was one hell of a book

What a TWIST!!

I couldn’t stop listening! I loved the twists and turns Julie took us on! The mind is a mysterious thing! Loved it!

Phenomenal!

This blew my mind! I don't even know why at this point though 🤣 I've read SO MANY of Julie's books and yet somehow I'm still always surprised. Julie is my absolute favorite author because of books like this. It's hot, yeah, but they're deep and thoughtful and you take something away from them to carry with you forever every single time. This book was fantastic! This is one of those books I think I'll see or feel or think something new about every time I read it. And I will definitely be back to read it. This was phenomenal!

not what I expected

this is my first JA Huss read and boy was I surprised. I didnt know where this story was going and when it eneded I was soooo surprised. great book!

Oh WOW

Holy f…k hell. What a crazy book in a great way. I love all the characters. The twist and turns are incredible. I thought I had it figured out. WRONG. JA Huss you are an incredible author. Well done.
