A Delightful Two Stories In One Audiobook

So this audiobook, had two different historical romances in it.

We start out meeting Maddie (and also an early introduction to Cece, as she appears sporadically in Maddies story). After Maddies story ends, we go into Cece’s story. We do meet other characters in Cece’s story that likely will have stories of their own.

I really do appreciate the plots of both stories. It felt like I was jumping back in time, and yet totally understandable in today’s modern time. However, nub is one of the least desirable words to call any anatomy.

I appreciate how close the pairings are.

I did enjoy the narration of the story. The narrator seemed to make it work for both the female and male characters.

Overall, I really enjoyed the stories in this set, and would continue to read both the author and narrators work in the future.

Fun little romance

These two were fun and quick. The characters had a lot of sass which was fun to listen to and the guys were interesting to listen to try to figure out what to do and what they wanted. I enjoyed the friendship between the two female protagonists and am curious to see what will come next for the men and women in this era. Who will fall in love or lust next and how will they end up with their happily ever after. I narrator also did a good job I always knew who was talking and the accents made it all the better.

I received this at my request and am leaving an honest review of my own choice.

Dirty Birds 1 & 2

Maddie and Christian's story was adorable and made me laugh over and over again. I loved the dialogue and banter between all the characters in this story. Maddie is an orphaned Dukes daughter and the ward of another Duke, Christian's father so having known each other for so many years had a comfortable relationship. However, Christian not having seenwas not ready to settle down. All Maddie ever wanted was a quiet comfortable family life in the country. Sparks fly though when the two come together.

Cece and Charles was just as good. Friends since childhood their relationship was easy though it was Cece who was scared at first.

The dialogue and character banter was wonderful and I couldn't help listening to both these stories with a smile. The narrator did a wonderful job.
