It's the first day of school and I know it's going to be epic! My name is Z, Z the zombie. I'm starting middle school this September, and I have no idea what the next few weeks will have in store for me. I have a funny feeling that my older brother, R, will try to cause some problems for me, but I'm going to try not to let it get me down. After all, I have my skeleton friend, Bonnie, and my zombie pigman friend, Trevor, to help me out of any hard spots that I might land myself into. Who knows? I might even make another friend.

Reverting Story for pre teen bobys
What did you love best about The Diary of a Wimpy Kid?
I bought this for my son. He is ten and not the keenest reader, but he adores these books. He has actually read them all and now is loving having them to listen to before he goes to sleep. So what I love about this audio is that it is helping my son to develop a love of literature.
What did you like best about this story?
It makes him laugh and he likes to share anecdotes with me from the audio as well as having me listen to section with him. It also is entertaining and educational and means that he is doing something that is not a computer based activity.
What about Ramon de Ocampo’s performance did you like?
Realistic accent. Engages the reader, It is lively and humorous.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
My son listened to sections each night. It was difficult to get him to realise he had to turn it off and go to sleep.
Any additional comments?
I think the more children's/ young adult literature that is put on audio the better. We wish there were more Whimpy Kids written. I would thoroughly recommend these books to all parents, especially the parents of reluctant young male reader. I believe they will enjoy the audio so much that they will want to read the novels

FUNNY!!!
Would you listen to The Diary of a Wimpy Kid again? Why?
My kids and I love these books. The narrator isn't trying to be a Renaissance Fair performer - he is just reading it with a hint of dryness. It is easy to listen and laugh to for anyone who enjoys potty humor, kids being a bit naughty, and everyone embarrassing themselves.

Amazing for English learning
If you could sum up The Diary of a Wimpy Kid in three words, what would they be?
I'm an Egyptian, and I'm learning English. My goal is to be fluent and I believe it's not easy so I decided to begin reading books especially kids books that use easy language to immerse myself in English, This book makes me laugh and have interesting time, the most important it's kind of simulation of living in America because the events and culture in the book.. finally this book has variety of situation that can help me build many vocabularies, phrasal verbs, and idioms.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
as an English learner, I can't listen to this all in one sitting not because the book isn't interesting, but because I'm not that good with English.

great but annoying narrirator
it was a good book to be fair but the narrirator was annoying after a little while you get used to it.to be fair he is just a guy trying to get some money and any way he's reading a script so you can't get mad at him for doing a bad job at describing the pictures.
