Great Book!!
I loved this book. To echo some of the other reviews I thoroughly enjoyed being able to see scenes from other characters POV. Also getting to learn more background about the characters involved in the main series was very enjoyable. I wish it was longer but that is the only negative I have for it.

Space detective story. What more do I have to say?
Yeah it's only 4-5 hours but it's still fun. You don't need to read the main series but it sure dose help. Over all a fun listen and sure to keep you entertained.

A differant way to read
As we wait with baited breath for the relese of GFL book 6 the Gangster I think I have found a new way to enjoy the series.
Qurntin Barns is the main character his upbronging is covered first in this novela. If you want to reread the series, I reccomend the following order. 1. The detective 2. Title fight 3. the Reaf 4. the Ryder 5. The rookie 6. The Starter 7, the all pro 8. The Reporter9. The MVP 10. The Champion. While reading the All Pro I reccomend stopping in the middle and reading the reporter bassed on the chapter designations given in the All Pro.. Everyone is differant just because I don't think most of the novellas give away significant plot points does not mean you will. This review is meant for rereaders only

Good times in the Siglerverse
This ties together both the main GFL series and other adjoining novella. And finally we get under the skin of Fred, his story is one of the darker and I guess there is more to be had here.

A wonderful story and exploring the back stories of minor characters in the GFL books. Not as great as Title Fight, but very good. A must read (or listen) for all GFL fans.
