I did NOT like the female narrator Sands

Collins (male narrator) was intense, passionate and true immersed you into the story... In stark contrast, Sands (female narrator), unusual speaking cadence by constantly speeding up and slowing down coupled with her whiny mumbling voice DROVE ME CRAZY! In fact, i contemplated not purchasing in next book in the series because she is also sharing narrator duties...luckly tge story is too interesting.

Like the series but the porn is overdone

Like the series but there is a mysterious jump nearer the end of this second book of the series where he doesn't remember anything then it turns into a cheap porn book for a couple of chapters before getting back to the story to end the book. This author tends to put a lot of sex in his books which doesn't bother me but holy cow this is overdone for a chapter or 2. Third book picks up the story again and is very enjoyable.

Xe mumbles too much and too much embellishment

I kept going with this book because I want to know what happens but a lot of time could be cut by taking out a lot of the over the top descriptions. I got bored and just zoned out during some stuff and didn't miss a thing. Also, the female narrator mumbles so much I could barely hear what she was saying.

good and bad

alot of ppl dont like these books but i find them entertaining. yes the sex scenes are long and awkward and i usually end up clicking the skip 30 sec button several times. however the story is original and there's a few plot twists that keep u intrigued. The only two real complaints i have are how he drags out the points ur waiting for, like kaiair and nadea meeting, and the ending of this book. ...youll see. but yea other than that it is pretty interesting

Ends like a carbon copy of the first book.

I have really come to hate books that feel like they have to end with a big cliffhanger just so you can read the next book. Unfortunately despite how well this is written are usually rate based on how the book is presented and how it ends. I really like the basic premise of this book and how it is written. But the entire premise and bases of this book comes from coincidences, people passing in the night not aware of somebody else just 10 feet away from them. One or two times can be a coincidence but the entire novel is based on multiple coincidences like this. At this point I’m not sure if I’m going to read anymore of these books. I find it quite hard to read a book that just leaves me pissed off at the end of the book that’s not why read novels.

female Narrator made me cringe

her voice was too low. I could barely understand anything she was saying and it sounded like shes never lived a happy day in her life. besides that... everything was great.

Xe Sands SUCKS

The narration absolutely ruined this audio book for me. I ended up having to buy the text version because I could not understand Xe Sands' narration. The parts I could understand, her voice was incredibly annoying. Her voice was a stark contrast from Collins whose voice I could easily understand even at 2x speed. The story is not quite as good as book 1, but still very enjoyable overall.

The woman needs to speak up

My only gripe is the woman narrator. She has a decent voice that I don't mind hearing, the issue is I can barely hear her. I have my headset volume maxed and my phone volume maxed and I can still barely hear her.

Super annoying.

The male is fine, first series I've heard him in and it's not half bad. Kind of wish it was just him alone like in the first book so I'd actually be able to hear half the book.

Disappointing

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

People who likes dark fantasy with sex scenes that have no place in the story. its worse in this one then the first. I don't care for the main character all that much either. Nadea was the most likable character out of this cast. The world is interesting, and there are plenty of good characters on the villain and hero side just not Kaiyer. Hes the only character I have a problem with. I do feel about a third of the book could have been cut and it would have been better. The author seems obsessed with graphic sex and focus on it constantly. It feels like he wants to right a porn more then anything else and doesn't seem to understand that people aren't constantly horny like all the time.

Has The Destroyer turned you off from other books in this genre?

It has not. just not from this author I think.

What about Xe Sands and Kevin T. Collins ’s performance did you like?

Good voice acting. They help immerse me in the story the only time I became un invested, was from all the graphic porn and description of how horny everyone was. Which wasn't there fault it was the author. Wish to hear them do other books in the future the both of them.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment merely cause the story was interesting just needed a good editor to fix it and cut the fat off. like again all the sex, and a few other things.
