good start to a great series

I give this 4.5 stars really. while my least favorite of the series this book is still very good and is made that much better by it's excellent narration. well worth a listen for any fantasy lover.

Really really good!

What made the experience of listening to The Demon King the most enjoyable?

I rarely write reviews, but I can't stop thinking about these books. The story line is excellent. The narrator is exceptional. I'm almost done with the 2nd book and can't stop listening!

the characters are relatable and all of them have a intresting role in the series.

Phenomenal

A truly inspiring masterpiece that I can't wait to dive deeper into. Great characters and fluid story telling that tie together in intricate ways.

Good story but a bit slow

I enjoyed this story overall. I won't say what specifically happened but the major plot with the MC and the bracelets he wears took literally the whole book to unfold. It wasn't until the last chapter that particular plot gained any traction. Definitely should have unfolded that more in this book. Was still decent overall though. I'll go ahead and get the 2nd. It's sure to be better.

Buildup is good

This book was good but I’ve heard the rest in the series is much better so I’m going to continue with the series. Fingers crossed it gets better. There is definitely promise so I’m excited to continue reading.

I loved the story but I did not like the narration. It was kind of all over the place.

I just hope people give it the time because this is a great reading and I just think some people might find a new series to listen to for hours
