Author has potential.

This was ok for me.

The author has a good grasp of building tension and setting up tue characters, but the atmosphere of tue whole thing didn't quite mesh with the vibe of the tension. Like the atmosphere was several shades lighter than the scenes were meant to feel.

Definitely has potential for future stories.

Interesting premise...

Very fast-paced, with a likeable lead—this was okay. Mildly interesting.
I liked the idea of reading about demonic possession from the victim’s POV. The writing could be a bit stronger, but it’s not bad by any means.

It also shows alternating timelines and the reader gets a slight trip into the past, as well as a look at the lead’s core personality.

Overall
It’s okay.

It didn’t sound crisp, exactly, but it was okay. The narration was decent. 3.5 stars on this front.

This is an exciting and dark psychological horror book. It’s a story of a possession, but it is told from the possessed boy and the demon. It’s an original take on a person slowly being taken over by an entity.

Jeffrey is a 14 year old boy who begins to experience strange things in his mind. He’s having nightmares and hearing dark thoughts pop into his head. As the reader we feel the struggles, torment and mental anguish that Jeffrey is going through. It’s a roller coaster of a story and I was hooked!

This is my first story from this author and I am excited to read more!

Great Demonic Possession book!

I loved how well Stephen developed the characters, and how well the plot moved along so smoothly. It’s a great read! Not too long and not too short. Can’t wait for the next one!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great book on demonic possession of a little boy. The narrator does an excellent job. The expression of what is happening is amazing. Overall excellent book to listen to.
