Not the Grisham I expected.

I am a fan of John Grisham books and I bought this series thinking it was his. However, I quickly realized that this was not the case. This series is very well told and with lots of twists and changes in direction. I am now a fan of John hardy bell.

The same as it ever was

Just the same as many other cop books. Not really sure why we need to read the Lords name in vain,so many words in the English language

Entertaining

I wasn't totally sure what to expect after the short story that preceded this one, but I was a big fan of the author's first book so I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm glad I did. The story was entertaining from beginning to end and the narration was dynamic, and very engrossing. This built nicely on the previous book and the ending lays out a clear path for the next in the series. Good stuff from the author and narrator.
