A narrator can really destroy a book

I love Dolores Cannons books, and I am very happy that they are available as audio books. Dolores Cannon, may she rest in peace, is the best ever to explore this area, Since here books are so full of information and in english, (I´m from Sweden), I´m so pleased to be able to listen to her books instead of reading.

But when a narrator try to play a role not suitable for the book its destroying it. So I have to agree with others: one narrator, Trisha Brown, makes it hard to listen to some chapters. Why does she sounds like a very, very old lady when she speaks? It´s so annoying. The other a perfect to listen to.

Odd narration

I’d buy any Dolores Cannon audiobook title, but this is the first so far with a jarring performance by one of the female narrators. Because the subject matter is interesting enough, it doesn’t need special voices or acting with dramatic delivery and odd accents. It is only one of the several narrators, but for the producers: PLEASE do not do this ever again. It is very distracting. VERY DISTRACTING. I’ve gotten used to the reporter-like delivery of past books, and this suits the material much better. As it is, the affected presentation takes the listener completely out of the subject, and the clients depicted come across as doddering or mentally challenged. I’ll put up with it because I want the information, but PLEASE NOT AGAIN. UPDATE: I wrote the former when I was about halfway through. I’m now two more hours along and had to take a break from the crazy-making reader and knock down the performance score to 1 star - and that is solely on this one, not the others (who deserve 5 stars) I feel like I’m listening to a cross between an old woman, a lisping baby-talker, and Billie Burke as Glinda the Good Witch, possibly inebriated. I looked up this particular voice-over artist, and her regular voice is just fine, so this was some kind of choice. What in the world!?! P.S. I really enjoyed the reader who does Janice and related personalities - !

Love this!

This book was fantastic. It elegantly approached the subjects of the different realities that we are living in, and perfectly, as well as factually, articulated the presence of aliens living and working amongst us. I loved the way that the author showed us that extraterrestrials are nothing that we should fear, and illuminated their intent of benevolence. I’m so grateful for this work! I hope that everyone who reads this will not allow the “old school type of doctrines”, that most of us have grown up believing, to cloud the validity of what’s being shared. I think we, as a society, are ready to hear these truths. Thank you so much Delores Cannon for sharing this with us. I hope you read these reviews and know how truly grateful your readers are! I can’t wait to read this next book!

After chapter 6 it gets VERY good

Did this 1 narrator out of the 4 intentionally try to sabatoge this book? It really seems like it. She made a joke out of this amazing material. Did someone tell her she was doing a non-fiction book? Other than this atrocious voice in a small section of the book that I mostly had to skip over, this book didn't disappoint. The other narrators were mostly great. Dolores Cannon did AMAZING work in her life. God bless your soul Dolores.

A Lot of Hooey! One star rating is one too many!

This book was absolutely ridiculous and totally unbelievable. Too many WHAT???s for me - WHAT? - that doesn't make sense - like forcing a circular object into a square peg- just doesn't fit and nothing neatly falls into place. For instance, the subject of religion or spirituality is thrown in like a handy man who starts talking about God just so you will think he is a reputable person and hire him. There are absolutely no explanations of spirituality throughout the galaxies - just thrown in casually to get you to believe the author is reputable and reporting true facts. The part about the galactic library was just too, too much and the way the author so conveniently agreed with the "librarian's" every word- asking questions, yes, but always agreeing with the nonsense. Nothing rings true - maybe, MAYBE at first - but the further along you get the more imbecilic it gets. The Twilight Zone did not tell authentic stories and neither does this book.
performance got a bad rating, also, because the characters speaking about aliens are artificial and deliberately eerie as to also be unbelievable.
Come on, Delores, give your audience a little credit and don't try to hoodwink those who are naïve. And believe it or not, I DO believe in alien life, but certainly not this book.

Captivating Book by the Great Late Dolores Cannon

I've read most of the Author's books and love them all, but I found this book had me pondering a little more. If you're interested in metaphysical matters, extraterrestrials, or simply open-minded just enough, you will LOVE this book(all of the Author's books for that matter). What I love most about the Author and her work is you feel like you're on a journey to discovery with her. Each book gets more evolved. All of Dolores' books on Audible are well narrated with the likeness of the Author, while changing the voice for the remaining characters, which brings her books more alive! Many great audiobooks have been destroyed by bad narrators, so I was even more pleased that such great books by this Author was narrated as great as the books are themselves.
Get ready for a great listen! Enjoy!

A nice revisit after reading the CU series

This was the first Dolores Cannon book I read (back in 2015). After that I have read 15 more of her books. So being a big fan of Dolores I checked if there were some of her books out on audible and so I found this one. What I can tell you is that after having read many of her books and now revisiting this book again I found a must deeper understanding in what is said here.

Awful narration voice

I’m sorry, I just can’t listen to hours of the most annoying narration I’ve heard from an audio book.

The journey of evolution of earth and our universe

Dolores Cannon recorded hypnotherapy sessions of people who had been specially chosen as universal guides and evolved beings living on Mother Earth with us and channeling messages from our interplanetary and spirit light beings ancestors.

Dolores also asks questions and her clients provide answers about UFO beings, their technology and lives as light workers and their commitment to helping in our evolution into a higher frequency and higher dimensional beings.

One of the narrators was very difficult to listen to but the others were good.

Awful reader

This is another book I couldn’t finish as I couldn’t go past one reader who just killed the book for me. The first woman was good, and then the second woman’s voice who came on being interviewed was so put on it was just distracting. I tried to persevere for a while but I just couldn’t in the end. What the...
