Publisher's summary
Filled with action, suspense, danger, magic, and a little bit of love, book two of The Tugurlan Chronicles, The Cure, picks up where book one, Vampire Iniquity, left off.
Just when the slayers thought they could take some time to unwind and recover from their death defying battle against Dracula's offspring, Dan's cousin, Bruce, has an unexpected run in with werewolves and is wounded. Now, instead of the slayers searching for vampires, they’re searching for a cure for Bruce before he reaches the point of no return.
While roaming the caverns of the Arizona mountains, Bruce meets Tatyana, a young woman running from vampires. Fortunately for him, she’s no stranger to the occult. It’s a bonus that she’s able to communicate telepathically! She joins in race in searching for the cure.... Will they get it in time?

Story
Obituary writer Nadine Barbault doesn’t mind being called “Lady Death”. It suits the ice queen persona she’s cultivated to survive the fast-paced Toronto Herald. So when Nadine learns that famous (and reclusive) author Dot Voline has died, she doesn’t hesitate to run the obituary…only to discover that Dot is very much alive. Nadine’s screw-up has brought Wesley Chen of the rival Spear no end of joy—she’s been a thorn in his extremely ambitious side for years. But the renewed interest in Dot also surfaced chatter about a mysterious past scandal.

Ryder, Garrett, Kenzo, and Diesel - The Vipers. Their deals are as sordid as their business, and their reputation is enough to bring a grown man to his knees, forcing him to beg for mercy. They are not people you mess with, yet my dad did. The old man ran up a debt with them and then sold me to cover his losses. Yes, sold me. They own me now. I’m theirs in every sense of the word. But I’ve never been meek and compliant.

Story
Eight years ago I fell into a secret summer fling with my best friend’s little sister before our lives went in different directions. Now, I’m the grumpy to Juliet’s sunshine on a popular dating podcast we host, and when a wealthy fan gives us a charming coastal cottage as the biggest thank you ever, we head to the town where I grew up to give it a makeover. And find the house has only one bed. Located under a mirrored ceiling.

The Action Continues
Book 2 starts the action off straight away after the Book 1 ending. Bruce, cousin to Dan takes on a larger role once turned to a werewolf early in the book. "The Cure" is for him. His attraction to Tatyana culminates as their love story begins and then threatened by a host of vampires. So bottom line, more action, romance, magic and mayhem with The Tugurlans and friends.
