This book truly opened my mind; it made me think. Despite our differences, we all add up to that number of 8 Billion humans on planet Earth. No matter your height, your race, your sex, your sexuality. In fact, scientists could not find a difference between the genes of a black man and a white man. So what makes us different? Nothing. We’re all humans. Respect each other. Cooperate. Everyone is on the same speck of dust in the universe.

The experience can be enjoyed on its own or as a companion piece to the book, whose own graphic novel-like visuals are a standout themselves. I highly recommend this audiobook to anyone who has kids coming of age in this turbulent and often polarizing world. It’s clear now more than ever that we could use more loving and accepting voices like the ones heard here.
