How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
I felt like this was a lack luster ending. It seemed rushed! I loved the selection and was really excited to see what Eadlyn selection would be like. I was team Kile but I was thinking that there was something more between her and Erik. I felt like she flipped so quickly from saying she liked Kile in the garden to Loving Erik. It just seemed to soon or we didn't get enough background detail to believe it!

Kinda disappointing
I've read all five of the selection series. Unfortunately this was my least favorite. The narrator didn't help. Whenever the main character was supposed to be upset, the narrator TOTALLY over dramatized it. The ending kinda left a lot to be desired, especially since it's the last book of the series.

No action, no drama, no suspense..love story?
This was a strange way to end the series. No action, drama, or suspense. A very small amount a love story. The worst thing that this princess had to deal with is getting a tomato thrown at her face. It slowly just comes to an end. There is a lot of detail given to some of the characters in the story, but it's kind of pointless because they don't really play much of a role in the book. I just felt like this book was like..blah, blah, blah,...the end. Wondering how it received so many stars from other people. What a let down.

It's like Kiera Cass didn't even write it
Would you try another book from Kiera Cass and/or Brittany Pressley?
I would, because the Selection series was so good. I listened to it again after listening to this book, and it's like the books aren't even written by the same person. The characters are shallow, and the characters from the Selection books act completely differently in this series. No good.
What could Kiera Cass have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Developed the characters more? I thought she rushed through a lot of things, and made characters (even well-developed ones from the previous series) seem shallow and do things just to further the plot, not because it made any sense. I thought the book was very poorly written.
Was The Crown worth the listening time?
NO! I was SO disappointed in this book!

Good Commute Book
Was The Crown worth the listening time?
To give context to my review, I'm a 27 year old grad student. I still love young adult and teen books. Why not? I read so much for my dissertation already. I adored the first 3 books of the series. There's something about Eadlyn that makes her very drab to me. I find myself having trouble paying attention when trying to listen at home. Of course in traffic, it's interesting enough. There's probably a better book out there to spend my credit on. Not every book is going to be a home run. I figured it's worth finishing the series.

Slow book. Felt like nothing happened until the last chapter and the way the narrator spoke was annoying to listen to. Nowhere near as enjoyable as the other books in the series but glad I finished it all the same.

A little bit disappointing
I'm glad I listened to the last instalment in the series. However, the romance wasn't very believable. Out of nowhere she seemed to fall in love and it seemed a bit disjointed. Wish it was as good as the first 3 books.
