Powerful
Beautifully written, full of figurative language yet still manages to catch you off guard. Definitely using this with my 6th grade class next year! (I need to learn to rap…or at least give a spoken word. I’m glad audible is available—it’ll help with practice. 😉😊)

Wonderful story of brotherhood & change
The climax will give you whiplash but it’s definitely perfect for readers from 4th to high school ages. My class loved it!

The Crossover audio
Most of the audio is well done and enthusiastic when the reader is characterizing male voices. The speaker mispronounces library as libary repeatedly. And when he reads the mom dialogue he makes her sound weak and frail. It is not how I picture her to be since she is an administrator at a school and she is strict. I taught this book to my class and I like to introduce my students to strong female characters and voices.

there is not much to say other then this is in my top 5 books I just wish he got a girl at the end but alas a-la-s nothing is perfect and that's what makes a book worth reading

very good
The book had a bunch of twist and turn but overall if you aren’t a basketball player it’s confusing but it’s still really good but the audio reader was outstanding but i put it to high of a speed and the ending of the book was amazing!
