Amazing proof of the Holy Sprit transforming gang bangers into upstanding citizens that contribute to society in love instead tearing it down in hate.

The movie was good, but the book goes well beyond in facinating events after the initial touch of God's love.

Run Baby Run and One Holy Fire are also highly recommended!

An Honest Example Of Christ's Involvement In The Lives Of Those That Dare Believe And Follow The Leading Of His Spirit

Nothing to dislike in this story! This is a revealing look at the life of one that was submissive to the will of God and would dare to believe even through the struggles only to see the glory of God revealed. This book demonstrates the heart of God revealed in the ministry of someone obedient even in the most inconvenient times. if you are a Christian or even a non-believer that is looking for truth and an honest understanding of what it means to follow the leading of the spirit, then this book is for you.

Very enjoyable!

Really neat to hear the way God showed up and changed so many lives. Made me think more on what it is he wants to do in the lives of people around me.

Inspiring

I have always heard other Christian brethren talk about this book and finally decided to listen to it. Wow! What a story and reminder that the Holy Spirit is still working through His people. This is truly a must read for the believer and non-believer alike.

So much better than the movie

I read this book almost 50 years ago and remember that I loved it. I’ve only seen the movie since, which is only okay. I found I had to listen to this book all in one night because it’s so compelling in spite of knowing the story. The narration is excellent. I will be encouraging others to listen to this. It’s so so good.

This one has been in my recommendations since I listened to God's Smuggler a couple months back. Wonderful, encouraging story about how teen challenge was started. Give it a listen, you won't be disappointed.
