Brilliantly inventive, genuinely funny, outrageously disgusting and above all, properly scary, this tale is a completely new take on the idea of monsters under the bed . . . Will keep readers captivated from start to finish

Quite sweet!

I haven't read a kids' story in ages but this one reminded me of how good it feels to let my mind rest and just enjoy a simple adventure. Although this one wasn't quite as simple as one might have expected. It was brilliantly written and had all the fun expected from a children's book. I adored the audible experience so much. They made it sound like a bed story time and the fact that Tom made an appearance here and there made it all even more enjoyable.
