Publisher's summary

Two women. An office filled with secrets. One terrible crime that can't be taken back.

Dawn Schiff is strange.

At least, everyone thinks so at Vixed, the nutritional supplement company where Dawn works as an accountant. She never says the right thing. She has no friends. And she is always at her desk at precisely 8:45 a.m.

So when Dawn doesn't show up to the office one morning, her coworker Natalie Farrell―beautiful, popular, top sales rep five years running―is surprised. Then she receives an unsettling, anonymous phone call that changes everything… It turns out Dawn wasn't just an awkward outsider―she was being targeted by someone close. And now Natalie is irrevocably tied to Dawn as she finds herself caught in a twisted game of cat and mouse that leaves her wondering: who's the real victim?

But one thing is incredibly clear: somebody hated Dawn Schiff.

Enough to kill.

The Coworker is a tense, unputdownable thriller from New York Times bestselling author Freida McFadden that explores the dark ways the past can echo through the present―with deadly consequences.

Disappointing

Was excited for the new Freida book. I find all of her stories so good but this one was a miss. The main character makes the story very difficult to listen to.

LOVED this read!!

Another great read from Freida McFadden. Excellent twists as always and the ending wasn't what I thought. Narration is good, interesting facts on sealife, and good ending. Loved this and highly recommend.

It was ok

Not the best book. It was ok but I was glad when it ended. The reading of all the email data was so annoying!

She did it again!

I absolutely love Frieda Mcfadden's books. This one definitely kept me guessing though. I can't wait until her next release.

Love Freda's books!

There is one thing that this authors books have in common. All the main characters are bat sht to 1° or another. That's what makes her mysteries very interesting. You have to pretty much guess who did what, why they did it, and how crazy they are? Lol
If you are a fan of psychological thrillers, you need to give this book a try. This book talks about being bullied as an adult and via coworker. That shows the level that the bullying can affect both people. It really makes for an interesting read. If you enjoyed the housemaid or the housemaids secret, then you better spend the credit on this one! You will love it just as much!

Not a fan !

Where do I begin. Emails and turtles ! Lots of both. I didn’t care for the narrator and that usually doesn’t bother me. This book was like it was written by an amateur. Not like any of her other books.

Great as usual. I loved the story, Narraration meh

I love Frieda, she started my love for crime & suspense books. The actor does Dawn really well, probably why she was hired, but left something for the imagination & pulling you in.

Loved

I have read 90% of Freida McFadden books and this is my second favorite. I loved the "turtle" as it always gave me a smile when it was brought up. I spent the entire time thinking I knew the "twist" this time but of coarse I didn't. You will not be disappointed and this narrator is the best.

Guess Again (and again, and again..)

My favorite author of the genre delivers another twisty until the very end page turner! Excellent narrator who always brings character personality, quirks and nefarious intentions to the forefront in the best possible way. Couldn't ask for more.
