Publisher's Summary

An exciting, thrilling, complete western romance novel.

No cliffhanger.

Joanna was the epitome of a southern girl - beautiful, curvy, and as sweet as cherry pie. She always remained positive and happy, even without having much time outside of her work life. With little luck dating, Joanna decided to sign up for an email-order-bride service, thinking little of it.

Awaiting her arrival was John, a handsome, muscular hunk with a stellar ranch. Will love find course through old methods? Or will they be forced to walk separate paths alone?!

Warning: Listeners should be 18 years of age or over due to mature content and language.

The Cowboy's E-Mail Order Bride by Emily Cooper

The story is short, sweet and a guarantee of HEA.❤

The narration by Zura Johnson was also good. I love her accent. 😊

Clean and sweet romance

John signed onto a mail-order bride site after hearing one of his staff mentioning it. He didn't think something could came out of the whole thing but something wonderful did. After all, when you know you know.

My first Emily Cooper's audiobook. I had a great time with this clean and sweet romance. I was looking for something more but I have nothing bad to say about it.

The whole story was well crafted. The world was build from the very beginning and the mix of old and new was seamless. Even the main characters stood in place and time, no matter how easy it would be to act more modern.

What confused me, since I'm used to SEAL romances is that this book is advertised as one. I'm still confused because none of them was a Navy SEAL so... What gives?

I really enjoyed the tone differences the narrator used for the characters and her southern accent went great with the story. That being said, I had to listen to the book at 1.25 speed because the narration was a little too slow for me.

I would recommend this story for a couple of hours of sweet romance. If you love historical or clean romances the better.

Recommended

An excellent story about a Cowboy/Owner of a re-enactment ranch. The characters are good and solid, the kind you want to be friends with. I appreciated that the story was clean.

The title give the incorrect impression; there is no Navy SEAL & the pregnancy doesn't occur until after marriage.

Zura Johnson did a good job narrating.

I was given a free Audible copy of this story, at my request, in exchange for a honest review.

Sweet Novella

This was my first Emily Cooper's book, and won't be my last. This is the first book in the Western Pregnancy Military Series. I loved this short novella. Joanna and John's story is sweet, with a beautiful HEA. They are great characters. Zura Johnson did a great job with the narration. I enjoyed listening to this audiobook. I was given a free review copy of the audiobook — at my request — and have voluntarily left this review.

A modern day mail order bride

I liked the concept of a historical ranch experience and having actors in character around the clock. The mail order bride concept fits right in.

The story is short and sweet, but I would have liked to have seen more development of some of the aspects of the plot. That being said, it was still an enjoyable listen.

OK!

It was just ok for me! The narration was good. The author does a good job with the characters although the story is very short. The plot was not well planned. There were a lot of details that didn't flow smoothly for me. This was my first book by this author and I would be willing to read more of her books. enjoyable

short story. enjoyable. no military mentioned in the story at all, so I don't know where the Navy Seal comes into it. The only pregnancy was mentioned at the end. Clean, so I can let my niece read it. Could have done without the word-for-word wedding - vows, prayers, and call & answer. But that's just me. Didn't really notice the narration, so she did good.

Okay story for me

This was an easy story to have in the background while doing other things - you won't miss any necessary details. That being said I enjoyed the story. The narration was done quite well.
