Better than 100 visits to a therapist!

I came across this book by “chance” while reading another book on dealing with the pain of divorce. I always new my wife had narcissistic qualities, so I listened to the sample and what do you know!!! This book read like a manual to her behaviors, and validated all of the thoughts and pain I’d been feeling throughout our marriage. The clarity and validation this book provided me was PROFOUND! If you or anyone you know is in a relationship with someone that regularly flips the script “deflects” during an conversation, makes them feel loved one day and nothing the next, regularly gives the silent treatment but won’t tell you why, blames you for ALL relationship problems, or makes you feel like you are loosing mind, READ THIS BOOK. My wife left me suddenly for a “reason” that not only made no sense, but she proceeded to stop talking to me, send me hurtful emails one day, then tell me she still loved me the next, started dating someone within a couple weeks, and publicly declared her “happiness to start a new era”, all while I laid in a dark depression that left me unable to work or function for a month. This book was huge part of the recovery process. Thank you Debbie Mirza!

Life changing

I was never able to put my finger on exactly what was happening to me over 20 years of marriage to my best friend. Over 15 years, my life force was stripped away, my body told me something was wrong, I was called names that were horrible and clearly not true, it was projection. This book is my story. I am a smart, loving, empathetic, sweet self reflective person. I was emotionally abused for years. I am now a survivor. I deserve more. I am now sharing my story with family and friends and it is so powerful. I am no longer a silent victim, I will be Brave and Amazing and Be ME.

Profound enlightenment

This book explained so much about my relationships that started with my mother and continued with most of my relationships my whole life. Now that the lights are on and I can see clearly, I can stop doubting myself and stop allowing this type of relationship to control, not only me, but my happiness. For me, this has been the most life-changing book I have ever read.
