Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! After listening to this story,. I totally enjoyed reading this book. It’s well written and the characters were uniquely fantastic. I would suggest this book to my friends that like this sort of genera. this was a good book. The narrator was great.

Oh I absolutely LOVE this book. so well writen!!! very intetesting and sexy. Kivian is one of my favorite characters. And the performance of the narrators is outstanding. A+++++!

Another Ruby Dixon Favorite

I’ll give pretty much buy anything Ruby Dixon writes, sometimes even in multiple formats, and this series is no different. This series is set within the wider universe of Ice Planet Barbarians and if you want to read all of Ms. Dixon’s work, I recommend reading three shorter novellas within the Risda series chronologically speaking.

1. The Alien’s Mail Order Bride
2. Pretty Human
3. Prison Planet Barbarian

In addition to loving the Hero of this story (think captain Jack Sparrow in space but he treats his chosen family better), I love the narrator Hollie Jackson. She is the same narrator for Ice Planet Barbarians and she nails the attitude of each character.

I read these Ruby Dixon books a few years ago and just could resist listening to the stories brought to life. Mason Lloyd and Holly Jackson bring Kivien and Fran to life. Who doesn’t love a very sexy blue alien pirate and a fierce human women who join forces. This book was full of witty banter , adventure and lots of humor. I love it and I’m going to listen to the whole series. If you like Ruby Dixon and you enjoyed the book you’ll love it brought to life. Totally recommend. ♥️🔥♥️

The Corsair’s Captive is Book 1 in the series and it starts out with a thrilling rescue! Kivian will be your new book hero and Fran is a woman worth saving, worth loving. Sigh.
And, oh, yes; narration; Hollie Jackson and Mason Lloyd. They don’t just read the story, they become the characters. Really, really well. Lloyd’s voice will give you little shivers up and down your spine.
Read the whole series. Then read Ruby Dixon’s Ice Planet Barbarians. Every book in the series is better than the last one.
Every one of her stories is hot and exciting and really funny.

Just as good as IPB, if not better

I worried getting off Not-Hoth would break the magic, but these are just as delightful. This book has less of an emphasis on pregnancy and children, but he's just as protective and head-over-tail for his human mate. It was funny and enjoyable.
