Publisher's Summary

I wanted to write another book, but I had already yammered on about myself in two previous autobiographies, so it was time to mix things up.

The Cool Side of My Pillow is a collection of essays. Don’t let that fancy word fool you. I’m not trying to get highbrow or rant myself blue, but there are experiences and observations outside of the entertainment industry that I feel are worth sharing.

What’s it about? Mostly, things that matter to me, like putting in the effort, being honest, and not treating the environment like it’s the enemy. Is it self-help? I hope not, but you will find musings about fame, mysterious carvings, UFOs, and my general disdain of loud noises. Is it political? If it is, I’ll refund your money. There are no conspiracy theories in The Cool Side of My Pillow, just snarky humor and a sincere desire for us all to find peace on Earth.

I hope you like this book. It’s my first effort at “self-publishing”, so there won’t be any national book tour, marketing blitz, or glowing reviews to get your attention – just me throwing it out to the “Inter-webs” and hoping you’ll find it.

Regards,

Bruce Campbell

Too short!

I loved this book--Campbell's delivery was on point, and the stories were entertaining. However, the title is a bit of a misnomer. Most of the essays in the books are more reflections or stories than actual essays, but they were enjoyable just the same. The one exception is Campbell's piece on trees, of which parts were essay-ish. I enjoyed them all the same. My only complaint is that it is too short... I wanted so much more than was provided here, and I hope that he will do another installment.

Groovy

This is just two plus hours of Bruce Campbell rambling on about random things. I love it!! My only complaint is that it's too short. Hail to the king, baby!

Awesome Book

This is a wonderful book of essays that should delight new readers as much as those familiar with Mr. Campbell's work on page and screen. He writes about a wide of range topics from his life concerning his experiences growing up in Michigan, working as an actor, adventure tales, current events and a couple essays about things that piss him off. All of which are peppered with humorous anecdotes and interesting side stories. The book does a great job showcasing Mr. Campbell's talents while also capturing him as a person.

The writing style of The Cool Side of My Pillow shows the natural and fluid approach Mr. Campbell has with how he tells a story. Combine that with his rich voice and performance and you have a truly enjoyable listening experience. I got lost in the book and before I knew it, the book was finished. I eagerly look forward to more works of this kind from Mr. Campbell.

If you like this and haven't already checked them out, I recommend If Chins could Kill: Confessions of a B movie star and Hail to the Chin also by Bruce Campbell.

His name is Bruce.....and he's a good human.

I've read his other books. This was a substantial addition to his other literary accomplishment.

Charismatic Bruce Campbell never disappoints!

While simultaneously proving he's down to Earth and a celebrity personality, this glimpse further into his life dosen't disappoint. I only wish he'd let me animate his short cartoon idea. <3

More Stories From The Chin

Excellent book with some more stores from Bruce Campbell. He touches on current events, bike riding, and Hollywood stories. His sense of humour makes the book a joy to listen to and craving more. Until we get the next part of his autobiography series this fills the gap nicely. Wait a go Bruce!

More tales from the chin

Maybe I'm being stupid but I didn't exactly know what to expect. If you liked if chins could kill and hail to the chin then it's more of the same, which is great. Once again read by the man himself, plenty of laughs from the sarcastic master.

Thank you Mr Campbell, write another!
