Publisher's Summary

Three sinners. Three confessions. And all the dirty little secrets you could possibly desire.

Father Stuart Ballard has been Marcus Stearns' confessor since the young Jesuit was only 18 years old. He thought he'd heard every sin the boy had to confess until Marcus uttered those three fateful words: "I met Eleanor."

So begins "The Confession of Marcus Stearns," a moving coda to the RITA® Award-winning Original Sinners series.

This collection also includes "The Confession of Eleanor Schreiber," a companion story written exclusively for this book.

And, finally, all secrets are revealed in "The Confession of Tiffany Reisz," an exclusive, in-depth interview.

AMAZING! This audiobook does this fan of The Original Sinners Series proud!

I read this book when it was first released and it was amazing-just what was needed for this fan of the series. Then I found out it would be released as an audiobook and I was a very happy person (I love audiobooks). I listened and this audiobook of The Confessions exceeded all my expectations. Mr. Davies did an outstanding job by bringing these characters and Ms. Reisz's words to life like no other narrator before. If you are a fan of the Original Sinners series, whether you like audiobooks or not, this audiobook is a MUST! Bonus-we get an audio of the Confession of Tiffany Reisz at the end!

Tiffany and her words are always GORGEOUS!

Tiffany Reisz I love you. Total girl crush!
Thank you for writing these confessions for fans of this series!
I loved Father Ballard in this, he was the ideal Priest to hear the confessions
of Marcus and Eleanor. Matthew Lloyd Davies was the narrator!
The writing is brilliant. This will forever be my favorite book series.

I hope she keeps writing these characters, even if in short stories.
The size of this particular Original Sinners book may be small, but the substance
in which the story is told, feels as if I just took in a full length novel.
It was PERFECTION!

Love this confession so much!

What made the experience of listening to The Confessions the most enjoyable?

Matthew Lloyd Davies's narration of course. I loved the softness in his voice, matching perfectly both Priests during Soren's confession, and his female voice for Nora was also great. But what I really loved the most about this audiobook was Tiffany's confession in the third part, because it was her own narration!! Amazing!!

What other book might you compare The Confessions to and why?

Only The QUEEN could compare to The Confessions, and only because in the 8th book of the Original Sinners Series, Soren tells Nora about his feelings when they were separated.
But seriously, The Confessions is one of the best additions to the OS because of the depth of Soren's and Nora's confessions. Because it shows things that weren't said implicitly during the series. Because Soren's confession shows his most vulnerable moment and because Nora's confessions shows she's how she really feels about the dynamics of her relationship with Soren after The Queen. Simply amazing!

What does Matthew Lloyd Davies bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love the softness in his voice. All the audiobooks of the OS series are narrated by women, except for The Siren and Michael's Wings of course, and Soren's voice was always so serious, but Matrhew's performance showed a vulnerable side of Soren's, because of the circumstances during the narration, but his voice was exactly how I've always thought Soren speaks,

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

YES!! It's short and perfect!! In fact, I listened to the first two parts twice because this novella is the best of the best!!

Any additional comments?

I loved that I have The Confessions in audio, so I can repeat it more often. <3

Love the story. Love the narrator

I loved everything about this audiobook, from the story to the chosen narrator.

One of the least enjoyable aspects of the White Years section of the Original Sinners audiobooks was the narrator of those. I got through them because I loved the books but oh man, listening was not easy. I suppose for that reason more than any other I cannot state enough how perfect I found Mathew Lloyd Davies to be. He had me hooked from the first.

Regarding the book itself:
I have enjoyed each installment of the series, but this was by far my favorite. I found the writing smoother on every level. I found the humor more subtle and sophisticated, almost British. Perhaps that was simply because Ms Reisz was writing a Brit character as the main character. Who knows. What ever the case I would highly recommend this book to every last Sinners fan. I would furthermore recommend the series anyone who loves superb kink and an engrossing character-driven storyline.
