Yummy

The Complete Diabetic Diet offers many healthy nutritious meals and snacks. The book’s opening also discusses taking a common sense approach to diabetes. For a cookbook, this is a good one! The narrator did a good job!

Lots of great healthy tips

This book is great information for anyone whether they have diabetes or not. Lots of people are obese and can use tweaks in their diets. Convenience and processing are what is killing people. Their tastebuds control them. This is great that explains some great ideas for healthier options. I would have liked a PDF version of the recipes to print out and keep in the kitchen.

Perfect for any Person's Plate and Palate!

I will preface this review by stating that my wife has been a dialysis nurse for over twenty years and I have been witness to the growing epidemic of diabetes and it's aftermath on the lives of those who have lost kidney function. It is not pretty my friends. While many factors can lead to the loss of kidney function, diabetes, and especially type 2 diabetes is by far the biggest and most preventable contributor! While these comments may come across as preachy and unsolicited, the key point here is it is easily preventable and the recipes in this little audiobook could save someone's life and/or limbs, perhaps even your own.

The author presents the information clearly and the narrator delivers it well with just a couple of tecnical mistakes in the audio editing. I reduced the rating for the performance to only four stars because of this.

While similar recipes can be easily found on the internet, this makes a handy meal shopping guide or a great resource for meal planning. I found that I wanted to stop and start as I listened so I could make notes and record the recipes I wanted to make. While I love the convenience of audiobooks, cookbooks in audio format still required a scribe, me, in order to really get the most out of them.

If you are looking for some good recipes on the go, or you are seeking to change undesirable eating habits, I can recommend this audio title as a good resource worthy of a place in your Audible library.

Great recipes for delicious food, diabetic or not!

You don’t have to be diabetic to know that the recipes in this audiobook are first rate! I need to pick up the ebook for 99 cents so I can skip the hassle of writing down the ingredients list for grocery shopping. Charlie Mason is a master of the audioCookbook, I could listen to these all day long. I think he just taught me how to cook! I can not recommend these audiocookbooks highly enough! I can’t wait to surprise my wife with a delicious diabetic-friendly dish! If you need this cookbook, look no further!

Great source of healthy recipes

This is a great book for a well-balanced diet regardless of current health problems, but especially very informative if you do have or are in danger of having diabetes. Having some family members who are diabetic, this title caught my eye and I was pleasantly surprised. I feel like it lays out some wonderful tips/recipes when making meals and many that are fairly easy or not time-consuming. I wish maybe Audible could allow chapter titles, so that sections could be outlined without me having to bookmark and put a note, but it isn't the publisher/narrators fault for these things. Overall an excellent source for anyone looking for some balanced diet meals/tips.

Great book

This is a great book for creating a healthy diet, regardless of being diabetic. Its definitely going to help us create a better balanced meal then the junk we have been eating.
