Acerca de esta escucha
A brown and white pony, a gift before the birth of their first baby, becomes a constant reminder of their heartbreaking loss.
Tess lost her baby, but her husband, Cody, continued to lavish affection on Pony as an outlet for his grief. Tess wanted, no needed, to get rid of Pony. Cody grudgingly agreed to give the horse away, but would this be the end of Pony, or a new beginning for all of them? And who kept taking the toys Cody put on the children’s grave?
It would take a Christmas miracle to save their marriage and give Pony a good home.
This is a clean and wholesome Christmas short story of renewal and God’s grace.
Finding Peggy Sue
Mary Wilson is determined to return an arm that belongs to a Civil War era china doll.
For her journalism class, Mary is assigned to solve a true life cold case, and she wants to use the missing doll for her project. She’s eager to begin until she learns her partner on the assignment is the obnoxious Tim Driskill.
Tim’s life had spiraled to the pits after a football injury, and now he has to work with the university’s biggest optimist. To his surprise, as he works with Mary on the case of finding Peggy Sue, the pain and anger in his heart eases. His world is turned upside down when they finally meet the doll’s owner and find an unexpected connection from his past.
Would finding Peggy Sue destroy his new contentment, or would the little china doll lead Tim and Mary to an unexpected happiness together? It would take a Christmas miracle to set things right.
This is a clean and wholesome short story with a touch of mystery and romance.
