However, it soon becomes clear that her cousins all have their own reasons for wanting to win the house—and not all of them are playing fair. As a snowstorm cuts them off from the village, the game turns deadly. Soon Lily realizes she's no longer fighting for an inheritance, but for her life.

I enjoyed imagining Endgame house/manor! I loved the thought of the snow on the country landscape of Yorkshire.

I loved the thought of an old house in the countryside at Christmas, the winter snow. I so enjoyed the twist and turns of the plot, the maze of what’s to come. Excited to return to the book every chance I got! The English/British accent makes it even better! I would love to see a movie!

Not for me

Book was well written but just not for me very slow I hate guessing. A friend recommended it and finally I finished it before this Christmas lol I missed it last year!

Cozy

This is what I would call a cozy listen. To be honest I didn’t like Sarra. I would have told her to piss if the first time she was nasty to me then demanded help. It was entertaining, I didn’t think it would be as predictable as it was. But I enjoyed it once they got to the house. The very beginning nearly list me and I was going to move on to my next read. But I’m glad I didn’t. This is a book that would make a great fun movie.

Twist and turns.

I liked everything about this book kept me guessing the entire way. Ups and downs, twists and turns.
