Publisher's summary

Rachel Gooding only wants one thing for Christmas, a date for her parents' Christmas dinner. Easier said than done, especially when everyone in town believes she’s the reason for the divorce between her and town Golden Boy, Lance. Two years after her divorce, and with a push from her best friend Marcus, she’s taken the plunge into the dating pool. Rachel gets more than she can handle when every date is almost too good to be true, or so it seems. Now she must choose her perfect match, between him, him, him, him and him. The Christmas Hims is a light-hearted, clean holiday romance that will make you believe that true love does exist, especially at Christmas.

Such a cute story!

Dating ups and downs are always amusing, but the main character is so funny with her reactions to everything. Makes me greatful that I don't have to deal with dating again, because there are too many frogs out there!

You’ve got to kiss a lot of frogs

In some ways, the story hit too close to home. Having tried online dating myself and had a few disastrous dates, I understand the main characters desire to find someone at the same time as feeling clueless how to do that.

I did find the story to be fun and enjoyable, and the events were entertaining, but I did hope that Patrick was going to be one of the “hims.”

Overall, it was a solid lesson in never knowing how things are going to turn out. We can look for love in all the wrong places and then just have it suddenly sneak up on us when we least expect it.

Rachel's Christmas Hims!

In today's world, how do you find a date? After her divorce from golden boy, Lance, Rachel finds herself on dating websites looking for someone to take home for Christmas. She is not looking for a relationship, but some fun! With her best friend Marcus, we get to navigate through a series of bad dates until she finds one she enjoys. But will this be the one? I enjoyed this quick, quirky story with a twist! It has great characters and a look into today's world of dating. But this isn't just about Rachel and her dates. There are a few more messages included! Heather Henle gives us that true meaning of love, that second chance at finding happiness and let's us escape into Rachel's love life for a couple of hours. It's a lot of fun.

The narration by Stephanie Nemeth Parker brings it all to life. She does a wonderful job with the many characters and gives them all the emotions and feels. I loved her comedic timing and her pacing. It was my first listen by her and it won't be my last!

Fun Christmas romance

Rachel tries and tries to find a date for Christmas. She finally discovered that sometimes things happen for the best without us even trying. Fun and lighthearted story. I thought the narration and character voices were easy to listen to.

Christmas forevers

This is not my typical read. I found this and decided to try it out. It was entertaining listening to the klutzy women try to find someone before Christmas. There was a lot of talk about sleeping with the guys but there were no bedroom scenes which I appreciated. I thought this was going to be all about the best friend of hers which is also a guy but I was surprised by the ending.

Fun holiday listen

Two and a half years after her divorce, Rachel is tired of being alone and is ready to move on. Not wanting to go to another Christmas dinner with her family, she begins looking for a new guy on a dating site. As the old saying goes, you have to miss a lot of frogs before you find your prince. One of the guys that Rachel goes out with was a total loser!

As the story progresses, Rachel finds a herself having to decide between two men (and it wasn't the two that I had expected at the start of the book). This was a really fun listen and the first book that I have listened to by Heather Henle but I will definitely read/listen to more by her. Narrator Stephanie Nemeth Parker did a good job with the narration.

Meh

The idea behind the story was a good one. I think it gets lost in the narrators often robotic voice. While I mostly enjoyed the story it was at times hard to get through.

Cute Story

Christmas time Marcus for fifteen years, her best friend, was well liked with every one. She felt like a wallflower, even to her divorce, no one noticed her. Two weeks to change she needed a date, to her parents dinner. These two planned on how she needs to change, cute comedy. The narration by Stephanie Parkin was crisp and enjoyable. Given ARC audio for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

My 1st Christmas HEA ❤

This was my 1st Christmas audiobook and I have to say that I enjoyed this one immensely. The characters were fresh, storyline original and the author made sure it had flow. The author Heather Henle also gave it a pinch of humor, along with a HEA ending.

This was my 1st time hearing narrator Stephanie Nemeth Parker and I enjoyed listening to her. I thought she did a very fine job with her voice characters.

I definitely recommend this book to be part of anyone's Christmas listening pleasure and it deserves my 5- 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟s
