Publisher's Summary

On the day my husband and I committed to each other, I didn't wear a white dress. We didn't exchange rings. There was no audience or minister to witness our union. Only the two of us.

We swore to put each other first, to take on the evils our families had perpetuated together. Side by side.

But that was before the past returned to haunt us.

Now, everything has changed.

Stefan can't have both his past and my future. I can't ask him to choose. And neither of us can do what has to be done without the other. It's an impossible choice, but we've run out of time.

This is the third book in the Arranged Trilogy.

Finally Over

My biggest complaint with the entire series is the sex scenes, too vulgar for me. I wish the girl would just be a woman and speak up. She got better toward the end but still. This book is not one side and I didn't find myself wanting to know what was the man's thoughts on the chapter. The ending (the takedown) was a bust for me. No climatic at all. For all that happened, I excepted more.

Too Much For My Liking

It was okay, but it got kind of old reading about her “beautiful husband” and how hot he looked to her. She was so thirsty for him, blah, blah, blah. It was actually hard to care for the characters of these books. None of them appealed to me and so I just couldn’t wait to get finished with the series so I can move on to something else. I didn’t even care for the two main characters, Stefan and Tori. It was nice having Sebastian York read more than just four chapters of the book. It actually had him give his opinion throughout the book this time. Elena Wolfe did a good job as well, but I swear she sounds so much like Andi Arndt.

🌻Well hell, everything worked out ridiculously, well🌻

🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻V from Kansas🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻 Spoiler alert!!!!!!! I really always try not to do spoilers but, I can’t help it, in this case. First, I love a HEA, as much as the next gal, but I like my contemporary romances to ring with a little bit of truth. It’s amazing how the paternity of the boy worked out that the father just happened to be the only client that had any connection to this story. In addition, I’ve never met any woman who befriended her man’s former lover and love of his life, to continue to be a regular presence in their lives; nobody’s that understanding. Especially, when said woman ran away from her man due to her own lack of self-confidence. Seriously? The icing on the cake, however, is that after the CEO of a company gets arrested for human trafficking, prostitution and other crimes, for profit, but, his son who turns state evidence, not only stays out of prison, he gets to keep the company, money and everything else, that was gotten from this ill gains. I suspect there aren’t many people who don’t know that , in these situations, the government seized everything; money, personal belongings and property. I mean, that’s exactly why crooks hid money in off shore accounts, right? These ridiculous events just ruined the whole trilogy, for me. It’s going back. If I want fantasy, I’ll pick a book in that genre.

Good

The narration was perfect. The story was good. I really enjoyed this trilogy. That’s saying something from someone who doesn’t generally like them. Due to getting bored, but that didn’t happen so it’s all good. I loved the story and romance, the middle to end was weird for me besides the HEA. It was perfect. 4 stars for the whole series.

Great Ending

This book was so good. It is the last book of Stefan and Tori. I loved how they made vows to each other without any witnesses. Also, I really liked how things turned out with Stefan’s father. He was a real b@stard. Hopefully Stefans brother will get the help he needs. Their father was enough to drive anyone to drink. Luckily, Tori was a very strong person even though I could have popped her when she left Stefan instead of talking to him. I am glad that Stefan went crazy looking for her. Funny how things turned out with Anya's little boy (thought to be Stefan’s son), Stefan’s father, and Tori’s father. Nice ending to wrap things up. I recommend this series and hope that Ms. Gray's other books come to Audible soon. Sebastian York and Elena Wolfe did a fabulous job with the narration. Both of them brought the characters to life where I didn't want the book to end. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

let down

Ending was not climactic at all ... her father's fall was almost a oh by the way moment .... and then let's all be a happy family ... oh yeah we are trying to bring down this prostitution ring ... would have been so much better if Constantine had taken his daughter hostage down the tunnel or kidnapped Stefani's wife and sold her ... it was just all tied up in a pretty bow. Not enough action and the FBI brother just kind of fell off the grid too.

Solid conclusion to the trilogy

This book was a solid conclusion to the Arranged series trilogy. Book 3 had more action than the previous 2 and there were definitely some twists I was not expecting. I did yell at this book two separate times because the characters were acting dumb. Luckily it was brief and they started making good choices again. This book had a lot of emotion and you really go to see Tori and Stefan grow emotionally with each other. One delightful perk was more Sebastian York! This book had significantly more chapters from Stefan's POV which was very pleasant to my ears. Elena Wolfe was extraordinary as usual I always enjoy her narration. I highly suggest anyone who starts this series listen or read until the conclusion.
