Story
Jodie Jackson is leaving her London life, her career and her husband behind. She'd like a chance to turn back the clocks, but she'll settle for some peace and quiet on her brother Bill's houseboat. But from the moment Jodie steps aboard her new home, it's clear she'll struggle to keep herself to herself. If it isn't Marilyn, who cleans for Bill and is under strict instructions to look after Jodie, then it's Ned, the noisy sculptor on the next-door houseboat. Ned's wood carving is hard on the ears, but it's made up for by the fact that he's rather easy on the eyes.

Story
Molly Baker is living her best life. Thirty-eight years old, she lives on the 25-acre Hope Farm in Buckinghamshire, surrounded by (mostly) four-legged friends and rolling hills. An ex-teacher, Molly runs the farm as an alternative education for kids who have special needs or behavioural issues. It's full on, but she wouldn't have it any other way. So when the well-groomed Shelby Dacre turns up at Hope Farm asking to enrol his son Lucas, Molly isn't fazed. But Lucas is distant, and soon Molly realises he might be more of a handful than she anticipated.

Story
Becky still adores the traditions of Christmas: Her parents host, carols play on repeat, her mother pretends she made the Christmas pudding, and the neighbors come ’round for sherry in their terrible holiday sweaters. Things are looking cheerier than ever, until Becky’s parents announce they’re moving to ultra-trendy Shoreditch - unable to resist the draw of craft beer and smashed avocados - and ask Becky if she’ll host this year. What could possibly go wrong?

Story
Meg is definitely not in the Christmas mood. She’s never gone in for tinsel, baubles and mistletoe, and right now she’s still getting over an illness. Yet when she’s invited to spend the run-up to Christmas in the snowy countryside rather than dreary London, she can’t refuse. Arriving at a warm and cosy family home in a small hilltop village, Meg soon begins to wonder what a proper Christmas might be like. But just as she’s beginning to settle in, she spots a familiar face. Lex.

A bit disappointed
Is there anything you would change about this book?
I would change how Lucy was portrayed in Book 3. She seemed to have ended on a stronger note in Book 2 than how she was portrayed in this book in regards to Marcus.
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
I wish the narrator (which I normally love) would have stuck with the voices she gave Lucy and Chantal in Books 1 and 2. In Book 3, Lucy had a bit of a squeaky/whiny voice, and Chantal had an English accent she didn't have in the first 2 books (considering she was an American).

What happened to Chantalle?
I enjoyed the continuation of the story, there weren't really any surprises though.
Almighty cock up with the character's accents though. In first two books, both narrated by LPL, Chantalle had a very distinct American accent with a slight husk to her voice, in this she sounds like some sort of dreadful parody of a haughty English toff, it was a little off-putting to say the least. Chantalle was my favourite character in the first two books but her voice was like nails down a blackboard in this story.

Basic story, basic characters
I've still got 4 hours to go and I'm debating whether it's worth finishing, none of the characters are likeable, storyline is predictable and I'm not really bothered how it will end. If you're hoping for a nice Christmas read I would give this one a miss.

Enjoyable
Pleasant but predictable. It was my first audible book and I did enjoy being read to as I drifted off to sleep or relaxed in the bath.
Story is sweet but a storyline that's similar to so many others.
Narrative was clear and well read .

Great story, was delighted it went on for 90+ chapters.
unfortunately the narrator portrayed a few characters as rather whiny which after a while became irritating.
