Publisher's Summary

”It sounded to me like they’ve been watching you - watching us - for a while....”

A decades-old conspiracy. A group of mysterious allies. An entire nation out for their blood.

The Compliance Authority does not take kindly to dissidents. Particularly dissidents who have managed to escape their grasp, not once, but twice.

Things are about to get a lot more dangerous for Robin, Jace, and their team. Making it all the more urgent to figure out what, if anything, Nathan is hiding - as well as if their convenient allies are, in fact, allies.

Because there's only one thing Robin can be sure of right now....

The farther they walk along this tightrope of a life they've found themselves trapped in, the thinner the line becomes.

Delve deeper into the world of the child thieves, as Robin and Jace continue their fight for survival - and justice.

Again...This is getting old!

The intensity of the action is similar to book 2 which is good. However, the plot is similar just with different places and getting away different ways. I liked that there was a little more depth to Robin's romantic feelings. There were a lot of surprises but the ending again was disappointing because I HAVE TO read/listen to book 4. And even though, I am getting tired of not finding closure, if it weren't for the narrator, I would've stopped listening.

can't wait for the next

This book of the series seems to be a bit of a bridge for the next book, but was still so good!! The narration and writing, made it so easy to listen to! I can't wait for the next book to be on audible!!!

Best yet

Action, romance, adventure and unexpected turns sums it up. Can’t stop listening! Forrest does a great job of developing the emotions of the characters.

Gripping Story - Terrible Narration

I'm really enjoying following the plotline however struggling to listen to the narration. Narrator has a very nasal tone, almost as if holding her nose whilst talking. Often turn off and read instead which is disappointing.

Great story but dragged out

I love the story in this series of books but with this 3rd book the story is so dragged out with lots of repeating things we already know which gets a bit irritating. looking forward to the next book though.

Did someone else write this book for the author?

I've lovesd the world's of the Tower and Matrous and Patrous but this seems to be written by a different person altogether. The text is repetitive with the same phrases used so often, the story is just plan unbelievable with them getting away from 100s of people on multiple occasions. Really not her best work which is a shame because I love this author in general.

So slow and repetitive. Not best work from bella

constant repetition of events was unbearable. book 1 & 2 was bad enough but this was painful. couldn't finish it which was a shame. loved the gender game and the girl who dared to think.

great story tho the narrators voice bugs me

love the story but the narrators voice does not suit the character in my opinion. I keep imagining the main character as Velma of scooby doo due to the similarities in the narrators voice
