The more I hear Dyer's books and seminars, the more peace I feel in my heart in soul, the more hope I have to change all that is wrong with my life, and my spirit sings when I listen!! I like everything I have heard before, and this performance is no exception!!

I have enjoy listening to this narrator 'Dr. Wayne Dyer' about the Tao Te Ching. I am hungry for a chance to be better at what I love to do 'living with love, respect and gratitud'. This book it's been a great help for me. Thank you for the opportunity!

This is the seminar, not the book. I purchased by mistake, but still enjoyed it.

I love to listen to Wayne

What I most like about his seminars vs. his book is the stories he tells and how to implement the learnings. In this seminar he taughts about the wisdom behind the Tao te Ching and Carlos Castañeda's teachings.
In the final chapter, Wayne summarizes the teachings of Change your thoughts change your live.

I am never a fan of an author simply reading his or her own book. But I love recordings of live events. And this, I have to say, is one of Wayne’s very best events. Highly recommended for those seeking spiritual enlightenment.

The author gives this entire talk on a live PBS special. If you have time it is worth watching the PBS special. If you can't find it anywhere Hay House has it on their website.

Here the author goes through the Tao Te Ching one verse at a time. While going through each verse he tells stories. Their stories are sometimes funny and other times informative. There was one that just fell flat for me and I can't remember what it is. I've read the Tao Te Ching translated by many people into English. In fact it was handed to me when I first joined the Marines. I've always enjoyed it. Hearing the author talk about it today as I went through my day I agree with him completely we need to give up control! I practiced this throughout the day and found it was well worth it! It was said in the book, 'My Stroke Of Insight' How much energy it takes to maintain our personalities which are controlled. This talk brought it full circle for me and I'm going to give up the control and save the energy! At the same time I'm going to pick up the Tao Te Ching and start practicing its teachings once more!

What didn’t you like about Wayne W. Dyer’s performance?

This is an informal talk where we learn about his rough childhood, his alcohol father, how scrappy he is at coming back from a horrible childhood, how he's had every job ever, except for female prostitute (don't worry ladies, he can empathize) and how he learned about this incredible "thing" called the Tao.

Please buy his book about the Tao.

I bought this based on a recommendation from a friend. It's obviously not for me.

I don't understands how someone who is so obsessed with himself can be considered an enlightened person.
