My number one favorite author

KT Ashbourne is my number one favorite author. I always watch any of his audiobooks , I think I have listened to them all. As always this one is also a good one. It keeps you guessing. I always try to guess the ending and often I am correct, but I loved this entire audiobook because it keeps you on your toes and has so many dark hallways and twists and turns. I highly recommend it.

Great listen

Loved the storyline--it felt like a full-length audiobook. But was able to finish it in one sitting. Highly recommend it

Another good listen!!

Another fast and good listen. I loved Kim and the other characters. In The Carcass in the Car in Cassone, she asked by the Carabinieri to help identify the body of a mysterious suicide. She has to find the true identity of the victim and to trace and trap the actual killer who has staged the apparent suicide.

Twistier than ever!

amateur-sleuth, friendship, Italy, law-enforcement, murder-investigation, situational-humor, snarky, verbal-humor, fraud

Kim usually falls on her feet, and this time she kind of slides sideways. As advisor to the Carabinieri she is called on about a presumed suicide and agrees to the conclusion drawn. But late at night she has a revelation about the body not quite fitting the presumed victim despite the testimony of others who actually knew the victim. The judge was irate and gave her thirty days to prove her hypothesis or go to jail for contempt of court! Let the sleuthing begin! Another great story with lots of twists and a cliff hanger ending.
Claire Nicholls continues to be an extraordinary narrator.

Brilliant Ending

This is the 3rd book in the Zoe Bentley series and I loved it just as much as I loved the first two. The author does a great job building his characters.

Gritty and tense!

Typical Patterson Story

Listeners are left guessing as to the identity of the victim and to trace and trap the actual killer who has staged the apparent suicide. The story can be listened to in a single setting and like all KT Ashbourne audiobooks, listeners can take a breath and relinquish the built-up tension when finishing.

Interesting crime mystery short story

This audio book was quick, interesting, and fun to listen to. I can't ever usually finish longer audiobooks due to time constraints, so a smaller audiobook like this kept my interest the whole time, and allowed me to be able to finish. It was entertaining, thrilling, and mysterious, not knowing what will happen next. It was definitely a good listen for what it was supposed to be!
