Called Family! We are back for Season 3 and I couldn't be more excited to reconnect with you and pour into you like never before! I’ve missed you all tremendously during my off-season, and this season we’re hitting the ground running. We’ve got a new theme for Season 3 — Business Wisdom from the Scripture and it’s going to be life-changing! Today, we're diving into a subject that might sound a bit counterintuitive: Positive Procrastination. Now I know what you’re thinking - how in the world can procrastination be positive? And yes, I know I have an entire episode dedicated to overcoming procrastination. Let me assure you, I’m not advocating for procrastination in the traditional sense. However, there are times when we get excited about an idea, launch it prematurely, and miss out on a window of opportunity that could have taken things to the next level. In today’s episode, we'll be exploring the strategic art of holding back to allow our ideas the time they need to fully mature before making their grand entrance into the world. Family, while I’m excited about Season 3, I’m also excited about Called to Illuminate which will be happening in just a few weeks on May 17th & 18th in Los Angeles. We recently announced our speaker lineup and session titles, and trust me, you’re going to want to be in the room. Also, be sure to stay tuned, because at the end of this episode, I’ll be sharing instructions to get special pricing exclusively for Called listeners. You certainly won’t want to miss it. • Called to Wholeness (Yes, Men Too…)
    Feb 19 2024

I'll be honest - the past few weeks have been challenging, and I'll dive deeper into that in this episode. However, I have come to realize that reaching new dimensions requires us to go through a period of demolition. Because at the end of it all, the breakdown makes us broader and more effective in every area of life. I want you to thrive in your businesses and organizations. But more importantly, I want you to succeed in becoming whole in every aspect of your life.

This week, I decided to flip the script and do things a bit differently. Normally, I discuss topics surrounding growth in leadership or ways to scale your business, but today might be the most vulnerable episode I've released to date. We discuss what it means to be CALLED to our respective spheres of influence, but if you don't get anything else, I want you to be Called to Wholeness.

Family, I'll be taking a few weeks to recharge to come back with fresh content. In the meantime, I encourage you to listen to some of the episodes you may have missed or revisit the ones that impacted you. Also, don't forget to register for Called to Illuminate which will take place in Los Angeles on May 17th & 18th.

  • Do Love & Business Mix?
    Feb 12 2024

Called Family! As Valentine's Day approaches, I wanted to explore an age-old question - Do Love and Business Mix? This week, we'll rewind back to last year's Called Conference where I sat down with my bride, my best friend, and my business partner Sarah Jakes Roberts, as we discussed the dance of doing business with your partner.

We'll talk about our experience balancing our personalities, respecting our business boundaries, and supporting each other to succeed in partnership. Regardless of whether you're in a romantic partnership or otherwise, as you apply these principles you will begin to see a significant impact on the success of your organization or business.

Speaking of succeeding in your business, the Called to Illuminate experience is approaching quickly - have you registered yet? I hope you will join me in Los Angeles on May 17th & 18th. Be sure to register today while early-bird pricing is still available. Go to calledleaders.com/events to secure your spot. PT thank you for being a voice and more importantly a mentor beyond the pulpit. Whether you are preaching, teaching, or now podcasting, I know to come with something to write with because there will be gems. I can’t wait for the episodes to come.

Never Fluff!!

I love that PT doesn’t play around. If you want to walk out your calling, live in purpose on purpose, this is the podcast for you. If you want to get down to the nitty gritty and be in the company of those who will push you to hold yourself accountable, while they partner with that accountability, to help YOU discover where purpose is leading you, this podcast is for you. If I were you, I would grab paper and pen and dig in.
