The Call Home continues the same tradition as previous books based on the harrowing saga of Bill Jay Cader, Florida's most dangerous killer. The setting is Apalachicola, Florida, in The Forgotten Gulf Coast, where town USA is tucked in the mid-eighties when things were far more relaxed and backwoods in the South.

This sixth offering of the series ties up many strings of Billy Jay's different paths and the many different people's paths he crossed in his reign of terror before being captured and sentenced to the electric chair.

The end of this series could lead to a future sister series with key characters left behind.
Come sit back and prepare yourself for all the ends to be tied up in this intricate web of small-town personalities embedded in deep dark secrets and psychological and tormented dysfunction.

Totally Absorbing

I had read the first book in the Mason Jar series and smatterings of the other books. But when I saw this was the concluding book, I wanted to know how things ended up.

I’m glad I did. All 10 hours of this audio book was completely absorbing. The writing painted vivid pictures in my mind of the scenery, as I listened to the narrator literally bring the characters and action to life.

Now that I know how it all ends, I plan to go back and read the full series. Or listen.
