Too short!
I was happy that this was a continuation of Samantha's story with tidbits of her sibling's stories. So often you are left to assume a happily ever after, but now you get to see what happens the next week.
The narration was decent with character voice distinction, but maybe not enough emotion for the events being described.
Bottom line: Great listen while you do housework!

A worthy sequel
The Buggy News (Amish Love of a Lifetime #2), my SECOND read from Christian author Sadie Palmer. Samantha Schuster & her boyfriend's story continues. If there's a problem with this book that it's so short. You want stories/books longer so you can enjoy them for a longer time. I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reading & reviewing it. Julie Lancelot’s talented narration adds to the book's enjoyment. I need to get An Amish Love Of A Lifetime. I'll definitely be reading more from this author. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Weird voices
I love the narration of the main character but the rest was just confusing. Girls talked like guys, guys sounded like girls and the story was just back and forth, same situations just new people. I didn't like it at all

The Buggy News 2 Is Good but......
The Buggy News was a good clean book. But my problem with the book is it sounded a bit childish. Meaning the reader was not convincing whenever she read the male lines. Just because the book was meant to target a young audience does not mean the book should sound childish. Another reader who can do voices really well would make this book so much better. This book is a good read, it even made me think about some of how I choose to handle relationships.

There was more!
I thought when I finished Buggy News that it was the end of Samantha and Joshua's story. Then when I saw Buggy News 2 I figured it would be about Emma. It did have Emma in it, but it the continuation of Samantha and Josh's story. Could their love stand the tests that came their way? Listen and find out! The narrator did a good job of using different voices for the different characters. That makes it so much easier to follow. I received this book for free, but that's not why I give it a good review.

OLDER WAITING FOR LOVE
A look at Samantha, older than most Amish and not married yet. A life similar to other young girls, in working in the same place as your boyfriend, until there is a break up. Seeing him everyday and with someone else. Taking a job at the newspaper, and hoping to meet that special person. She has a strong faith in God. Delightful to read and enjoyed the narration by Jaclyn Whitt.

An interesting view of the Amish world
In today's world, drama seems to attach itself to everyone - regardless of their beliefs and stations in life. But I can't even fathom how much the world would change, for the better, if each person who committed adultery, got their mistress pregnant (for a male) or they got pregnant (for a female)and were "shunned" for those actions. I dare say it just might be a better world, with morals quite a bit higher on the "I care about that" scale. Fantasy, I know, but one can dream anyway.
Great narration by Jaclyn Whitt.
