A Bit Disappointing
While the storylines were strong, as usual for Shelley Shephard Gray, I was very disappointed in the amount of language and the casual sex in the relationships. While referencing praying and believing in God guiding them, the characters just seemed to be ok living the modern, casual Christian life regardless of what the truths of the Bible say. It bothered me to have as much language in the storylines as each one did and that each storyline included a main character ok with living with a partner and having sex without marriage all while raising a child. I did enjoy the stories, but was just left frustrated and disappointed with such casual handling of what living out the Christian life should look like.
