Nice story, but I'm a bit confused.
This series is an adaptation of the book, "Christy". It is a nice, pleasant story, which, I believe would be a YA book. However, it is only 2 hours in length - just telling the beginning of Christy's journey to Cutter Gap. Just to whet your appetite to read more of the series. Therefore, my question is, "why not just purchase the book 'Christy' and be done with it??"
Be advised that Catherine Marshall was a Christian. All of her writings have a Christian theme with references to God and faith.

Have a "Cutter Gap-a-thon"
I read the book Chyristy in 1970 and fell so much in love with it that I have read it at least once a year ever since. I have bought over 15 copies for myself and twice that many as gifts. I cannot give this book a high enough recommendation except to say that this version is even more riviting as it seems to go inxto more detail. I only hope the rest of the books are as good. I expect they will be and look forward to including them in my daily life.

There was once a velveteen rabbit, and in the beginning he was really splendid. He was fat and bunchy, as a rabbit should be; his coat was spotted brown and white, he had real thread whiskers, and his ears were lined with pink sateen. On Christmas morning, when he sat wedged in the top of the Boy's stocking, with a sprig of holly between his paws, the effect was charming.

This hilarious, heartfelt, and soaring adventure will delight fans of The Goonies and Indiana Jones. Performed as a 1930s radio drama, it’s bursting with humor for all ages, orchestral scoring, and some of the most talented voices on Broadway. When their ace pilot parents (and adorable puppy) mysteriously disappear over the Pacific, the Flamingo Sisters - Flo, Faye, and Franny - escape the clutches of their evil Uncle Freidrich (who believes girls should never pilot aeroplanes) and join a flying circus.
