Painful and disappointing

First three books are in audio and the rest are not. If you start a series in audio finish it in audio! The voice program needs upgrading and the story kind of drags to the point that it gets grating. Trevor is supposed to be so intelligent and seems oblivious to the history of the families. Because he’s a jerk he doesn’t acknowledge his marriage, flaunts his bimbo who is his wife’s half sister in front of her like dog he is. The history of that family should tell him that his own daughter will eventually be frozen out like his wife was. Then it’s like, oh I’m a billionaire and I will just throw money at the problem. The story drags on painfully; a teaser for the second book leads you to believe he will back away from divorce before it goes through. You get the same description for the third book and you’re still left hanging on that idea at the end, and it will apparently it will apparently drag through four more books! Good god. I found most of the characters unlikable and the daughter bops around not caring about her mother’s feelings; she’s seven, but please, does the writer even have kids. Yes they are self centered, and she’s terrible to her mother most of the time which is encouraged by the self centered behavior of father and his bimbo! Have the decency to admit you’re married to the people around you and divorce before flaunting the tramp in public.what he’s going to suddenly wake up from his stupor and realize how his wife was set up in the first place and her step family played a long game to humiliate her. Not worth the drag out over seven painfully trudging books. Write a complete novel and get it over with already.
