Publisher's Summary
Cass is having a hard time since the night she saw the car in the woods and the woman who was killed. Since then she's been forgetting everything: where she left the car, if she took her pills, the alarm code, why she ordered a pram when she doesn't have a baby....
What she can't forget is the woman she might have saved, the terrible nagging guilt, the silent calls she's receiving and the feeling that someone's watching her.

Boring, picked out the killer within the first few
I was so frustrated by this story. It was given away at the beginning what would happen at the end. The main character annoyed me.

Brilliant all round!
Where does The Breakdown rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
One of the best books I've listened to - couldn't wait to continue through the story. Excellent plot that kept me on the edge of my seat guessing until the end.
What does Georgia Maguire bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Georgia Maguire was excellently cast to read this book - I choose books sometimes based on the fact that she is narrating them!

Slow at times
At first I wad very excited to listen to this because I had loved 'Behind Closed Doors' by the same author. I can't say I was entirely disappointed as the story was ok and the idea was intriguing. I just feel like it took a long time to get where it was going which I'm sure the author meant to be a slow burn build to an aha moment, that I wasn't all that surprised by.

Interesting
So interesting. Suspenseful, surprising. And of course superbly narrated by Georgia Maguire. I recommend any book written by

Psychological thriller more interesting in the second part
The book reminded me the first one of B.A.Paris (Behind the closed doors) which I liked more, this one is a bit predictable if you listen them in a row. Reminds sometimes "The girl in the train" as well. But as good psychological thrillers are not many - I recommend it to readers who like this genre.

Really enjoyed it
I loved BA Paris's last book, and although this one didn't have quite the same affect - I was still gripped throughout and enjoyed it until the end.

Brilliant
Loved this and brilliantly narrated. having enjoyed Behind Closed Doors I was keen to listen to this, although I guessed from the start what was going on, it didn't actually spoil my enjoyment of the book and as the last few chapters arrived I was spellbound. Another great psychological thriller, well crafted.

Wow what a roller coaster ride
Really enjoyed this audio book I read it in one sitting. I can't believe some reviews of this said that the ending Was poor. I am actually downloading an other book by the same author. The narrative was great which makes it more enjoyable. Will be looking for more new books by b a Paris.

Didn't want it to end!
This is the best book I have listened to since The Girl on the Train. I actually wish it was possible to 'unread' it so I could go back and experience it all again. The narrator was excellent, I just kept listening and listening. Highly recommend!

Ok but not in the ballpark of ‘Behind Closed Doors’
Very predictable plot that I guessed most of it quite early on. Not a bad book but quite average. Slow to begin with but picks up.

Exciting Read
This was a thrilling book. I guessed the twist from the start but this did not spoil it for me. I just kept on hoping Cass would see what was happening. The narrator was excellent and really drew the listener in. The final reveal via text message was very clever although a bit tedious to hear, it probably reads better. Overall one go my favourite listens to date.

Last few chapters
The last few chapters of this book really spoilt it for me... The neck and forth with the text messages to me, seemed a rather lazy writing style. All in all...A decent book but a little predicable

It Got Better
If i could have given half stars i would have given 3.5.
At times the story was a bit repetitive and I began to think of my next listen. But it has to be really bad for me to give up on a book and I'm glad I continued because it did get better and i enjoyed the ending.
This is the second book I've listened to by B A Paris now and I found I needed to have to stretch the imagination a lot to believe the story. But no matter, I suppose we don't have to be too pedantic sometimes we can just go with it and enjoy.

Repetitive
I found this book to be tedious. There are only a tiny handful of characters so it's incredibly easy to figure out what is going on. The main body of the book repeats over and over examples of the same thing. Couldn't wait for it to end.

Lost in information
The author had a great idea for a story but spent way too long giving every bit of detail that it became boring and relentless. I found myself fast forwarding through a lot of this book. The ending was ok but overall the book lacked the ability to keep me interested.
