Frustratingly great

Not your normal Ketchum, this is free of brains and blood, but that’s mean that it’s not cerebral and boiling. Starts interestingly and snowballs fast, this classic Ketchum bluntness that’s so perfectly crafted, you’ll want to know what’s in the box too.

It is worth the credit..

I bought this expecting a full sized book. I didn't look at the audio length when I got it. I found it while searching for splatterpunk. it is not splatterpunk.
The Box is well written, to the point, and an excellent story. It was 21 minutes long and worth every penny and every minute.
Get this short story. It is worth it.

Dread!

Wow what a gut punch of a story! Jack Ketchum was such a writing powerhouse.

I don't know what to think of it

This is a story that I feel will get better with time the longer I think about it and the message.

SCRATCH A SON AND YOU ALWAYS GET HIS DAD

I AM NOT HUNGRY
This is not scary, like most of Ketchum's writing. It is depressing. I like JK's writing, but this did not make me HUNGRY for more.

OK Story

I'm not sure why so many people are confused by what was in the box since the son tells his father exactly what was in the box. This story might be thought of as a lesson along the lines of Albert Camus's philosophy and the key to understanding it is to contrast the fathers ravenous hunger at the end with his children's lack of hunger throughout.
