This book, like all of Steven Forrest’s books are so insightful. His way of describing a planet, sign, house and/or aspects with a bit of humor and a lot of storytelling is so engaging that by the time you are done, you realize you just learned 10x more from his one book than you have from 10 other books by other authors, and all while being completely entertained. Astrologers don’t get any better than Steven Forrest.
Thomas Miller is absolutely amazing as the narrator and I am so glad that he has narrated all of Steven Forrest audibles books. Thomas Miller is easy to listen to and he speaks in such a way and with the same humor and delighted amusement that is so perfectly timed that I feel he must personally know Steven Forrest, and probably loves his books as much as the rest of us:)

Loved the Moon’s Void of Course Info

This book has truly opened my eyes to a new way of appreciating the moon and its role in our lives. I absolutely loved how it explained what each moon sign means, with both strengths and shadows, as well as the significance of the houses. The explanation of the moon phases is so insightful with how they influence our experiences. One of the most important pieces that I gained from this book was the information about the moon’s void of course role. I played with the dates of this and found that his knowledge resonated perfectly with my own experiences. Overall, I cannot recommend this book enough! I loved it! It’s an amazing resource for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of the moon’s influence in each of our lives.

exhaustive with a few good ideas if you can sit through it all

I respect the author greatly, but find a lot of the extended pontification a bit endless, and often meandering and not really about astrology. He rambles a good bit and I have trouble following the many threads that don’t seem linked to the main point. But he is an interesting researcher and thinker and I respect him a great deal. Some of the ideas presented are completely revolutionary and absolutely relevant. It takes a bit of wading through to get there, but that’s his style. The reader I find difficult at best, but that is a matter of taste and I mean no insult to him. Anything is better than AI. This is a mandatory shelf dweller for any legitimate astrologer, and I am glad to gave an audio book version read by a live human. May Mr. Forrest continue his work. My only big complaint is too little time spent on void of course, and still with no clear explanation of how to use or thoroughly them! I honestly don’t think anyone knows, regardless of professed expertise. An hour on ultra niche out of bounds, but barely a scrap on void of course which is way more common and relevant in both practical and natal.
