Just any warlock. Oh no, I'm a warlock for hire. Need magical assistance? I'm your guy. Whatever you need: spells, cures, or potions - I can provide. For a price. My life gets a tad more difficult when one particular customer comes knocking. Enter Ashley Sheridan. She's sexy, mysterious, and in a whole lot of trouble. I should have turned her away, but I just can't resist a good mystery. So I poked my nose where it doesn't belong and landed myself in trouble with a malignant seer. I have to do as he says or people are going to die. I'm not really known for cooperation, so I'll just have to find a way to kill him, before he kills the people I care about.

The book of Kindly Deaths
I LOVED it!This book is wonderful! It reminded me of a Neil Gaiman story. What would you do for a book to re write a bad death into a kindly one?How about if you could have your fondest wish for something you never use anyway? Think about that while reading this tale with the lights on! Hannibal Hills was the perfect narrator. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

So original… So good!
Any horror book read by the narrator should be awesome. He has the perfect voice for horror. This book is awesome on the town I find the plot to be original the nail ration to be awesome in the whole experience to be one of the best I’ve ever had with the horror audiobook. It is not jump scares, It is anticipation of what is lurking behind The door on this adventure. It is like Cora with an IQ. I love Eldridge black box I find them to be one of a kind and definitely worth reading.

Dark, imaginative, entertaining!
The Book of Kindly Deaths
By: Eldritch Black
Narrated by: Hannibal Hills
This is a story of stories but told in a brilliant way! A girl's grandfather goes missing so the family comes to his house and is waiting and searching. A spooky old man comes to the girl, Eliza, and demands a book. Not just any book but a specific book. She is able to get rid of him and tells her parents. She finds that book and starts reading it. It's the book her grandfather wrote in. Each is a strange and unique, dark and terrible tale. Eliza reads and reads. Each one seems worse than the last. Then the story continues when the book collector comes back!
Scary and haunting! Entertaining and bizarre! Just my cup of tea! I love a book with fresh imaginative fantasy. This sure does!
The narration was so good! The voice of Grim is scary! Very well done! So many voices from one man! Wonderful performance!
I requested this book and the review is my own personal opinion. Highly recommend.

Great atmospheric tale
This is a dark and fanciful story right up Tim Burton's alley. A young girl finds herself tossed into a dark world when her Grandfather goes missing and she reads from his strange book of "fairy tales".
The tales were actually pretty entertaining on their own, but at some point a dark figure comes calling for the book and she's forced to flee. From there, we're thrust into this Nightmare Before Christmas style environment with "monsters" and magic at every turn.
The book moves pretty quickly and kept my interest throughout. Hannibal Hill is the perfect narrator for this as well -- he totally completed the vibe.
I got this book after listening to the free short story that was listed as taken from the book. Sadly, I didn't get to meet the characters depicted there as I would have liked to, but perhaps in a future installment?

Stranger then Stranger Things....
I was given a free review copy of the audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
When you think that the main character is a little old-fashioned and over-protected 12 years old girl, you certainly wouldn't imagine the tale of horrors and strange creatures you will encounter in this powerful narration by Hannibal Hills. That however, is exactly what you will find. The dark forces working from the pages of a strange book and a memory of long ago when her grandfather had valiantly tried to shield her from an unwelcome apparition that had crossed over from a terrifying parallel world, young Eliza knew that her fate was to follow on his family footsteps. It is that fate that calls to her in her quest to rescue her grandfather and turns horrifying stories that she had believed to be only fiction, into a terrifying reality.
Wonderfully written and perfectly interpreted by the narrator, this audiobook will satisfy your hunger for the macabre till the end.

Want more!
This book is so clever and imaginative! Eliza and her family go to her grandfathers house to settle his estate. An eccentric man, he had disappeared and was presumed dead, but there was no body, no note, nothing. Eliza an imaginative child of 12 was forbidden to engage in any fantasy or imaginative play by her mother who was steeply set in reality and fact. Eliza has a curious nature however, and soon found a secret room in the house as well as a hidden book. The Book of Kindly Deaths. She begins reading the tales and slowly discovers that the stories may not be as imagined as she first thought. Sucked into a world of monsters and magic Eliza struggles to fight for good, and weird, and monsters. I loved the idea of this book, many small stories literally making up a book within the book. Brilliant. Also super gross and creepy with some great narration sound effects that escalate the creep factor. My first book by this author but there is room for more and I sincerely hope he runs with it. So much potential for a great series. I received a free review copy of this book at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Thanks!

A great climb into the world where monsters live.
I was thrown a bit at the start of this story due to how quickly we seemed to dive into the dark and strange, Just as quickly I came to appreciate how fantastically put together the balance of present and past story lines was and how it guided the story and led the Heroine to come into her own. I will be looking to find the next book as it was certainly a cliff hanger ending that left you wanting more. The performance felt very clean and neat to the ear and I feel brought a lot to the table for how we see characters interact and how we learn about the dark and yet beautiful world of the Grimwitch.
I received this book in exchange for leaving an unbiased review.

Mindbendingly different and a joy to read
At first I wasnt sure about this book as it is completely different to anything I have read / listened to before. It was the voice of Hannibal Hills that kept me intrigued. What a great choice to narrate this book. The short stories that are contained within the main novel itself are memorable on such a large scale and they all intertwine and weave so well within the main tale. It was the type of book that made it hard for me to put it down. It is refreshing ..different..and wonderfully written. I could genuinely see this being made into a tv series (Any producers reading this please take note ) I was given this book by the author/narrator in return for an honest and unbiased review
